I swear Carmen and Linda are the same person!😂 The only difference I see is the opinion on the suit size😂 Honestly Carmen is such a beautiful human with a big heart, you can see it right away. I especially love how intertwined she is with Linda's emotions and experiences and the way she talks in first person about them❤ Actors usually dissociate from their characters completely and only speak in 3rd person but here it's almost like watching Linda speaking, and I loved it!😂 Great interview, awesome questions, loved the details discussed. Thanks so much to both of you!❤
Awwww yaaaaaay I love these long form interviews! So satisfying to hear a real in depth conversation about all these things! ❤ I love Carmen's passion for the characters, and all the back story imagination she has to fill out each scenario, it's fascinating! I'm so glad she was happy to share all about that, it really makes it come alive in another whole way 😊 It's so interesting hearing each actors loyalty for their character, I guess having sympathy for the deep motivations of each person you play is part of falling into embodying their emotions and reasoning each time you act.. to me, Linda was an awesome mum and so loving but also not perfect - my favourite thing about young royals is that each character has depth and is never a cardboard cut out goodie or baddie.. Linda to me is too much of a friend to her children, and they seem to kind of half raise themselves.. I guess they took over sharing the household when micke would go on a bender or if they were fighting, but both kids seem a little over anxious to help the people they are closest to, and also a little closed off from life in a way that is more like fear than natural character.. I guess that's the residue of family violence, maybe the bullying, and the mother being so distracted coping with all the difficulties of life with an addict ex husband, a solo mum, and an autistic ADHD kid, and also being a first generation migrant... and given all of that she does an amazing job of loving her children, and also wille.. and its so lovely to see her care for her children, despite being so busy and hard working.. it's all so much fun to imagine the complexity. And with her character there is so much backstory we never really know, it allows us to imagine a whole world going on there The main thing I love, is how accepting and unconditionally supportive she is of her kids.. and it's so awesome to hear Carmen reiterate this too - the importance of being free to be yourself and to respect others being themselves, and to treat each other well across all of that. ❤ Such an important message for the world especially at this time isnt it 😊 Can't wait for any more yr season 3 interviews, and it will be so interesting to see where all these actors end up in a other few years after this experience 🎉
