I love Ivar's comment about how when watching the sex scene between Simon and Wille he forgot about the sexes these are just two people in love. I love that so much coz I so saw that. I could see them and feel it like from my first first relationship and it was a straight relationship. They're relationship is so beautiful
40:47 i love what he said about giving the audience space for personal interpretation, that’s one big thing i noticed about the show in general when watching for the first time: they don’t show you everything. episodes end and pick up not directly after each other. for example we don’t see the party dying down completely at the end of ep 1 nor do we see the end of wille and simon’s interaction hiding from august. the rest of the night is left “off camera” and this happens for lots of other moments too! i like that the viewer is not fed every little thing and can fill in the gaps themselves. sorry for the long comment i just think there is so much to talk about and analyse from this show!! thank you for your many interviews with so much of the cast, they’ve all been great!

Yes, I was so very glad when I found that for both Omar and Edvin in other interviews. Seems they are both born entertainers happy to perform for their families as kids, and then for their schoolmates. And while Omar was bullied for a time in elementary school, the way he now has sung and acted himself into the hearts and souls of a global family is the very best revenge on those ignorant vile little tormentors - so much better and the direct opposited to returning with a machine gun.....sorry to spoil the mood, but that's in the news so much these days.
Love all the deleted scenes information. It was very interesting and added more nuance to the story and to the relationships between the characters. Netflix, release the deleted scenes challenge!

I truly feel that both prince Erik and Wilhem are such charming characters and Erik deserves much more screen time to help audience understand the bond btw them. I actually freaked out and almost cried to find it out abt his passing on the show. They shouldve kept the part where Erik gave Wilhem the frog prince orb as well. That way it wouldve made much more sense why Wilhem got so attached to itㅠㅠ Btw what an interview! Thx again The Permanent Rain Press! This was a great interview, I’m so glad that I watched it. I so wish that we had gotten to see those two scenes that he mentioned because they do add so much to the significance of that globe and the song and since we got so little time with Eric, every scene he filmed should have been shown. I really hope that he is in some flashbacks in season 2 because he was such an important person in Willie’s life that I love to see more of that relationship.

I'm impressed by Ivar answer about how Erik guessed Wilhelm "someone" wasn't a girl in that quite short facetime conversation they had, when Ivar said because it may have been the very first time his little brother had a crush he's acting on and Erik may have already wonder before why his little brother had never seemed interested in anyone yet, then about how now that Wilhelm admits he's into someone and something is going on he is being super secretiv as if there is a thing about it Wilhelm doesn't want to reveal even to him his big brother he's super close with. I mean, I would have never thought of all of that and it does make so much sense. Great to know about the deleted scenes, maybe they will be released one day (if there is a DVD or something, who knows ?). Love hearing about directions, BTS and character potential back stories like Erik darker side, etc. SO interesting.

Funny that Ivar says (around 5:47) that he doesn't know how to pronounce the name of the German playwright Roland Schimmelpfennig in English. Why would you want to pronounce a German name in English? So he pronounces it "Chimmelpfennish," as if the "sch" were like the "ch" as in chime, rather than the "sh" in shine. Apparently doesn't know how to pronounce the name in German, either. lol
