So what ? Clippers have said to PG that he is an essential part of their future and they want him to retire there . Considering that he is a valuable scorer an had to carry a team because Kawhi was never there and a possibility that Kawhi will play in the next playoffs is low for two reasons . So in Paul Georges train of thought he is like , if what you say is true , than put in on the paper , promise that you will not trade me. They didn't give it to him . point is: he got the money elsewhere and knew that he would get it. the clippers lost a star player. the notion that star players cant negotiate for perks like a non trade clause is ridiculous. any employee that is valuable for a company can put specifics in his contract. george ended up in a better situation - embiid, maxy, lowry and gordon are now on his team. by being a free agent he was able to go to a team that does not have to give up any pieces for him. people here are tripping if they blame him for doing what he did, they would 100% did the same in his situation - he has all the cards in his favour. they should have negotiated the contract when they had time to meet his demands not shortly before him becoming free agent. in my opinion failure of the management of the clippers.
@checkanr138 he wanted to stay in LA. Clearly he didn't have the leverage to get what he wanted from them. They will be fine without him.

So what ? Clippers have said to PG that he is an essential part of their future and they want him to retire there . It's not a guarantee anymore that the clippers will get the playoffs , for that to happen Kawhi will need to play almost all of the games and also be more productive than before to fill the void of Paul George . And if he will do that , than comes the second reason , he probably will not be healthy for the playoffs and the whole team will basically be James Harden. Are y’all fucking stupid?? What series did yall watch? Harden barely showed up PG carried them every game they won
@@wesbesttreacts4515 it makes no sense to let Paul George walk and go into a season with washed harden and walking injury Kawhi as your only two star players lmao.
Paying both of them is insanely stupid without resigning Paul George. They also have no draft picks because they traded them all for Paul George.
Balmer screwed his team and now he's stuck with two guys will be lucky to carry that team to the play in game. And because of the cap rules, they can't resign anybody with the money they saved from not signing PG lmao.
There is no way to spin this into anything positive by the clippers. It is poor asset management. They wasted money on Kawhi and Harden based on the idea that they were bringing back George. If they knew PG was walking, then they wouldn't have resigned Kawhi and Harden and would have started an actual rebuild.
George leaving is a chain reaction that screws them for years lol.
@@joshmanuel3773 you’re not making any sense, like you said, the clippers have no draft picks so how exactly would they rebuild the team? By signing Kawhi and Harden they are actually in a better position to both contend or rebuild as they at least have the option to trade them for draft stock.
Nobody is saying George walking for nothing is a positive thing but the clippers didn’t want to max out a 34 year old 3rd option and I don’t blame them
In PG’s defense he has done more than Kawhi for the Clippers in terms of working hard and showing up to games unless completely injured.
lol no Whi has in all the playoff series Whi got us wayyy further then hurts himself doing too much
working hard? 😂 dude was injured and yall saying he didnt worked hard talk that to his broken knee 😂
I agree with Bj and Mccants.. PG aint been hooping on a “no trade clause” level since he been in LA
The question is could Brandon or Mcants ask for a no trade clause???...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Never 😂😂😂😂😂
Absolutely NOTTT
I already know this is gonna be one for the ages
nigga did B just ask if PG is a sagittarius 😂😂😂 tuff crowd
These guys be arguing about the same thing just saying it different.
This is the Brandon Jennings we need every show
No he was contradicting himself
an illiterate? LOL
I’m talking about being more involved not just sitting there staring at the floor 👀🤣
This is highlighting entrepreneurial and worker mindsets. Gil is lapping these dudes easily.
Them: you shouldn’t ask for a trade clause”
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Sometimes Brandon and Rashad talk like they fckin Hall of Famers. Just chill yall was ight!! NO All star appearances or All NBA teams between the two of them combined
Brandon is speaking truth!!! What makes PG special he has not done anything to win.
And u talking like u on their level either…chill out u was never relevant 🤷🏾♂️

PG getting a no trade clause? Hells no, he aint up there.

It was 4 years or a no trade clause. Less money? Well, promise you won't trade me. That's reasonable and there's nothing wrong asking for it.
So nobody gonna talk about how they offered him a 2 year 60 million extension at first that’s how the disrespect started
Disrespect me with $60m. please!
@Philly-zo2xn Yeah, I mean I get it. PG is on the backend of his career so why not take all the money that you can get? After he retires bro still has to upkeep that lifestyle so once it looked at it from that prospective I understood why he pushed the needle.
Pg is still worth the money wish the warriors could have given it to him tbh especially if we didn’t have to loose any pieces
It’s can negotiations for a reason. If you don’t ask you’ll never know. Closed mouth don’t get fed.
Who on that couch had a better career than PG?
PG got a bag in a big city so he won. The market decided that PG was right.
Bruh what do any of that have to do with anything. WHAT ARE THEY LYING ABOUT?
By that logic, you shouldn’t have any comments/opinions about any pro athletes huh?😂
@@getdown7799what are they lying about? I’m 100% sure if they had leverage they’d use it. The owners make billions a year. Why wouldn’t they negotiate?
Don't you watch to get their opinion? That the point of the podcast genius.
That's retarded. So they can only talk about the players they were better than? What are you fxckuing saying? hahahaha idiot
Brandon is one hundred percent correct and the ones who had the no trade minus Beal never had to worry about being traded anyway
I’m with Brandon on this one

Gil ain’t ever won shit in the league. Foh

You sound ridiculous. Ain't no one giving PG a no trade clause. Not even in China would they give that to him
@carboy101 I mean the Wizards gave Beal one. You don't think the Pistons would give PG one if he actually wanted to go there.
@@Vichinsky-ox8px they logically can’t. No team but the clippers can offer that. You only get it after a certain amount of tenure with a team. He’s never been there. Lebron himself just got one because he’s been in LA for 6 years and he signed to the lakers over a sign and trade. BJ point is PG can’t a NTC from the other 29 teams in the league, so why offer it? He could only get that 4 year max from the Sixers just because Maxey missed all nba. Why would the clips negotiate against themselves for Paul George when George has won 3 playoff series in 5 years? That’s why BJ is saying if you’re them move around, the most you’re going to get is the exact deal Kawhi got and even the you called yourself a number 2
Pg already knew what was up 😂 in Philly embid avoids all criticism so when they lose before conf finals pg had to make sure he can control his future
Pg don’t have a no trade clause in Philly lol
@@shizzoflex3121 they reported he did
Gil keeps saying if PG leaves they get nothing. If he stays they also get nothing bc they can’t trade him. All they get is stuck paying PG till he 39!
Brandon Jennings is on point today. What’s the argument. PG hasn’t won anything to be acting like he’s Bron.
He not acting like Bron though, they tried to low-ball him so he hit them over the head🤣🤣🤣. Plus the organisation said the want him to retire there. If they meant it there shouldn't be any issue standing on their word.
All im sayin is if Paul george dont bring a chip to philly, It will be a WRAP for players 30+ gettin them max contracts 🫠
No it won't the contracts are just getting bigger and somebody else 30+ will win a chip and prove that it's worth it.
It’s a wrap for 34+ not 30 plus
Philly is desperate
@@Dejays_lifestyle Desperate but with a plan to succeed and get that chip.

Gil Be Arguing With His Self 🤣😂😭
I don’t understand how former players are mad at current players conducting business and using their agents and leverage to have better situations in these contracts?! Just feels like bitterness & hating honestly cuz players are getting higher paid and better situational contracts than they ever negotiated in their careers. SMH
Sure is...jealousy is a hell of a thing...LOL. Lots of jealousy in the NBA
Gil understands it , they never had the leverage
Bro comes off super jealous.
Gil just like to try and be right with a take different from everybody else then create reasons to make himself right 😂😂😂 and still be wrong 😅😅
The term is called the devils advocate
Gil is right on this though p George had all the leverage in the world. Its supply and demand
Gil is right. I love PG but he’s not a superstar. He made a business move knowing the ball was in his court.
He got what he wanted but not in LA.
Now he’s got a chance to win a ring in the East.
PG won.
