      Would you say that the southern region in Kentucky is the most beautiful and best area to live in the state?

    I grew up in Pulaski County. I went to Ferguson Elementary for Kindergarten while they were building the new Southern Elementary. My class won the PTA membership drive and got to be the first class in the new school. I don't remember what grade I was in, but I remember the whole school coming out to watch a skydiver land on the roof of the new Somerset Mall. Whenever the principal couldn't be found, he was probably looking for kids skipping class at The Pirate's Cove (arcade) at the mall.

      Not really compared to larger cities. We do have our fair share of property crimes and stuff that comes along with drugs in rural areas.
      But it's truly a pretty nice place to live.

      U should! I really loved the southern town. It was my first time visiting for me

      @@senoritabella3 Rat Hole refers to the railroad’s nickname for the district. It got its nickname because of the amount of tunnels.

    • @sludge4125
      @sludge4125 3 года назад

      @@senoritabella3 The railroad was originally the Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Texas Pacific. It eventually was owned by the Southern, which is now part of the Norfolk Southern. Through the years, many of the tunnels were “daylighted.”
