me too...as in cant stop playing...except being close to klayton's age i lived thru the 80s...this tune drops me in a great nostalgic loop between 1982-1986
I'm hooked all over again... first CellDweller... now I've discovered Scandroid.... this is AWESOME music!!! :D to me this sounds totally scifi but in that retro kinda way :)
It's always burning in my mind Memories are getting lost Beneath the sands of time And sometimes I'm trapped inside the game I'd gladly disconnect from it with someone who feels the same!
Let's escape ,deactivate ,forget about perfection tonight . Come with me ,and let's go see ,if we can make connection tonight ! Memories are getting lost beneath the SANDS OF TIME . Man....so damn epic
Thematically, contrast this with Datastream, which is about finding fulfillment in the virtual. I love how immersive and thoughtful Klayton's musical universe has become.
Just discovered this song through Pandora! It's so good! His voice sounds like another 80s/90s songs I heard before, but I can't pin it, and it's driving me crazy!
Most of Scandroid's slower songs, (this one according to a couple websites clocks in at 75 BPM), such as Oblivia (90 BPM), and a few others I can't remember seem to sound a bit better a little faster. I think it's cuz at about 1.25x speed, they add up to around the same speed as most of the other songs of theirs, around the 110-130 range. Neo-Tokyo, on the other hand, breaks this observation; it's 110 BPM according to a couple sites, I haven't tapped it out myself because I can't find a reliable tool and don't have a metronome handy but at 137.5 BPM on 1.25x speed it's the faster, yet slower sounding one of the bunch.
Still not sure if this is about some crazy virutal reality robot sex or not .... :D Sometimes it's hard to get the meaning of songs if you are not a nativ speaker :D
the entire album is based on the future of humanity as robots become super intelligent. Some people think the advancements are going to far, others welcome them. This is portrayed in "Probots and the Robophobes". Meanwhile, the songs are sung from the perspective of one of the robots, who seems to have gained human emotions, especially love.
In keeping with the theme of the album, it's probably about a self-aware, virtual entity that wants to go beyond the realm of the virtual to have a human connection with someone out in the real (meat) world. There's an allegory here with people who are seeking connection but are unable to find it and substitute it with hedonistic pursuits (such as video games, in this video) but would gladly leave it at the drop of a hat if it meant a genuine connection with someone out in the real world.
I don't even know how many times I've replayed this song.
It has that '90's vibe + Klayton's epic voice = epicness!
80s*
Sorry, I'm a `90's child and I'm speaking about the songs that I used to listen which are all '90+ :)
Ah right okay dw :)
me too...as in cant stop playing...except being close to klayton's age i lived thru the 80s...this tune drops me in a great nostalgic loop between 1982-1986

This is probably my favorite. I really love the chorus synth part and the amazing vocals.

01:16 "I was walking and I felt a step..."
Thematically, contrast this with Datastream, which is about finding fulfillment in the virtual. I love how immersive and thoughtful Klayton's musical universe has become.

Hey Klayton! Would you ever consider doing a Dune concept album, perhaps under CoD? That seems like something you could really rock at.
And now i wanna play "Rad Racer" on NES :D
What about an emulator to play Rad Racer onto a newer PC.
Pasta Sarmonella E-Specialé Eeehhh... I have it :D

That's because the BPM on Connection is counted only on the second beat. You need to double it, this is at 150, which is why it's really driving :)
🖤
Какая досада что нет песен на нашем. Эх..
Es muy distinto a lo que esperaba de Connection pero tiene su encanto lml
es tremendo!
ovjea
Now this is some fine tune :D
Under 1k club, oh yeah!
This could be the theme song for Case from Neuromancer XD.
1:52 lost again :c
This reminds me of the movie ready player one 🤷🏻♀️
tottaly true
Ngl with more explosions than kharkov, perfection is misheard as affection
Очень круто!!!Greetings from Ukraine.
I swear, everytime i hear this song i think about Space Dandy.
Closing your eyes while playing a game where you need your sight for? Gonna see how that works and tell later.
He's not exactly below average. This being is has risen above such needs.
More videos where you're in them!
I want this game
Fffffff yea!!!!!!!
Still not sure if this is about some crazy virutal reality robot sex or not .... :D
Sometimes it's hard to get the meaning of songs if you are not a nativ speaker :D
Trust me, I'm a native English speaker and I still find it hard to understand the meaning of 90% of Klayton's songs, so don't worry. lol
FragMentEditing oh thank you :D I really was wondering if my english was that bad xD

Welcome CC There's cold ones in the Lamborghini cooler
ohh
For some reason this reminds me of Ready Player One.
It could work for the romantic subplot, which was pretty much all about wanting something real over something ideal. Just like this song.
Honestly, that looks like the easiest game ever made
dont fool yourself, look at how many buttons he has to press to make the bike just move!!
All the crazy shit is happening off-screen
I must go to jail.. Raped the replay button
