well sounds really annoying, I have broken into tears before but it was when a relative died or when i had an amazing accomplishment i worked 12 years for finally succeed. Andrea is a good singer but i feel bad if you are breaking into tears with every note, sounds bothersome.

Andrea Bocelli and the late great Luciano Pavarotti 🙏 are the only two operatic tenors that can really hit the high notes of this beautiful song 👏
Bocelli is popular because very few people understand what makes good singing. If you listen closely, he is flat on the top notes and they are also sung in complete head voice (falsetto). The money note at the end is pinched and unexciting. If you want to hear this aria sung properly, forget Pavarotti as well and listen to Franco Corelli, Franco Bonisolli, or Mario del Monaco. Those were appropriate voices for this aria. Enjoy!

Stunning! I fell in love with this voice one night about 20 yrs ago on PBS. I was 15 yrs into a crippling chronic pain condition, it was a bad night, but this voice transported me to a place away from the pain. A few years ago I stumbled across him here on RUclips. On particularly bad nights I pick one of his performances, find a mix & feel the pain float away on the wings of his divine voice. I just curl up in that voice & find ease, peace & joy as I listen to hours of his music. So, thank you Mr. Bocelli for all the nights you help me slip away from pain with your heavenly voice. Your voice & your beautiful spirit ease my soul. So, again, wherever you are, thank you!
