Il “CJS” è un nuovo sistema armonico ideato e brevettato da Valerio Chiovarelli ed è la prova evidente dell’attuale crescente evoluzione della fisarmonica e dei suoi interpreti. Il sistema a bassi standard nasceva dalla necessità di avere prontamente accordi semplici e precomposti per accompagnare la melodia. Oggi la fisarmonica, aprendosi ancora di più ad altri stili, segue un naturale mutamento che porta all’esigenza di costruire nuovi accordi ed armonie; non leziosamente più complesse, bensì personalizzabili e aperte alla natura e alle esigenze del musicista moderno. Questo nuovo sistema armonico, adattabile ad un qualsiasi sistema a bassi standard oppure unito allo strumento “CJS Accordion” (Limited Edition), permette una creazione smisurata di accordi e di possibilità espressive e creative in ogni genere e ambito musicale (Jazz, Pop, Classica, Contemporanea, Folk ecc).
La sottrazione che deriva dal trasformare una triade in un bicordo, non alterando la modalità (il modo), aggiunge matematicamente infinite possibilità armoniche ed espressive; queste confluiscono e si concretizzano ancora di più tramite la possibilità di sommare due o più bicordi (con voicing corretti). Con questo geniale principio che definirei “sottrarre per aggiungere”, il “Chiovarelli Jazz System” apre nuove strade al mondo della fisarmonica ed ai suoi interpreti.
The "CJS" by Valerio Chiovarelli is a new harmonic patented system that shows clear evidence of the current growing evolution of accordion and its interpreters. The standard bass system was born out of the need of simple and preset chords to readily accompany the melody. Today the accordion is more and more opening up to different styles and it is following a natural changeover that leads to the need of building new chords and harmonies; not just merely more complex, but rather customizable and open to nature and needs of the modern musician. This new harmonic system, which can be adapted to any standard bass system or combined with the "CJS Accordion" instrument (Limited Edition), allows for an vast creation of chords and expressive and creative possibilities in all genres and musical styles (Jazz, Pop, Classical, Contemporary, Folk etc.). The subtraction that derives from transforming a triad into a bichord, without altering the modality (the mode), mathematically adds infinite harmonic and expressive possibilities; these possibilities come together and become even more concrete through the chance of adding two or more bichords (with correct voicings). With this ingenious principle that I would define "subtract to add", the "Chiovarelli Jazz System" opens up to new paths in the world of the accordion and its performers.
