  • The Tashkent Metro serves 240 thousand passengers a day. With the launch of three new lines with a length of 21 km - Yunusabad, Sergeli and Kuylyuk - metro services are planned to reach more than 150 thousand people.
    The construction of the metro ring line began in 2017. The project with a total cost of more than 422 million dollars is planned to be implemented in five stages.
    At the first stage, a section was built from the station "Dustlik-2" (formerly "Chkalov") to the station "Kuylik" with a length of 11 km. There are 7 stations on the line, the journey from the first to the last takes 19 minutes. There are 4 trains running along the route, 4 carriages each. The line is capable of serving 46 thousand passengers per day.
    The stations are decorated in the national style, they have turnstiles with the possibility of electronic fare payment.
