I think SegaSonic should be a little later in the timeline, it does help with Mighty and Ray’s friendship timeline. Evidence: - In Knuckles’ Chaotix, where mighty does appear in the game - there is no mention of Ray anywhere (possibly Mighty didn’t know Ray until SegaSonic’s events) - TailsTube episode 5 goes over a few characters from Sonic’s past, which include Mighty, Ray, and Fang respectively. With Ray being described as once a scared kid during his capture on Eggman Island, but he grew up with confidence the more he hung around Mighty. - Finally, Mighty and Ray’s character description in Mania Plus states that the events of SagaSonic were the last time Sonic ever teamed up with them before the events of Mania/Mania Plus. So in conclusion, the events would go Knuckles’ Chaotix -> SegaSonic the Hedgehog -> Sonic Mania Plus All in all, the timeline is good. There may be a few tweaks to be made, but Sonic lore is complicated and likes to give people a splitting headache. With that being said, thank you and I hope you make a video discussing the Modern Timeline
Now that you mention it, i really like the idea that Tails had his own life and adventure before meeting Sonic, and then went off to do his own thing after Sonic 3. It kind of makes their friendship more realistic. The games paint it like they just met one day and become woven together and best friends for life, though this timeline shows it as a series of hundreds of little encounters that made their bond stronger overtime, like how adult friendships work. By the time Sonic Adventure rolls around, they've been on so many journeys that they are essentially inseparable
Well I don’t see Tails saving an entire island before he met Sonic considering the fact that Sonic gave him confidence so it should take place after Tails meets Sonic.
Arguing that SegaSonic must be a prequel because of Sonic being captured is a fallacious argument, especially given Sonic has been captured later on (and being a thorn in Eggman's side would present good motivation for Eggman to specifically capture him) And as another commenter noted, this game is the last time Sonic saw either of them before Mania+, which would include the good ending of Knuckles' Chaotix Sonic 2 (16-bit)'s Japanese manual establishes that Sonic met Tails on Westside Island, and that Eggman followed Sonic to Westside Island to get the Chaos Emeralds, so putting 8-bit prior doesn't work. Sonic Origins corroborates this with the "Sonic and Tails" meet cutscene being the intro to Sonic 2. Yes, this does put the 8-bit Sonic 2 after 3&K, but watcha gonna do (but hey, thanks for not dismissing Tails Adventure literally being a prequel, it's insane how many people just dismiss that because "Tails shouldn't be so confident >:c") The Japanese manual for Sonic Labyrinth actually implies that it takes place at the same time as Tails' Skypatrol, as Tails leaves a letter claiming he's going on on his own adventure (which is exactly what the JP manual for Tails' Skypatrol says he's doing), which would mean Knuckles' Chaotix can't take place at the same time Despite Bark and Bean being canon, I don't think Sonic the Fighters itself is, given its premise is built around everyone having 1 Chaos Emerald (so logically removing 1 would also remove 1 of the contestants), but I get people who insist otherwise Sonic Generations simultaneously confirms that classic and modern look different and that they're so similar that they mistake the opposite for a mirror (which wouldn't make sense if their eye colours, height, and general bulk were vastly different). That and Metal Sonic being MIA between CD and Sonic 4 suggests to me that despite the modern aesthetic, Sonic 4 actually takes place prior to any other Metal Sonic appearance, which is consistent with Episode 1 being established as taking place after 3&K. It's weird, I don't really like it, but that is the most consistent logic for that game Lastly, as an aside, despite the implications I reckon Sonic Mania's Encore Mode actually takes place before Forces, as Mania Adventures is clearly right afterwards while Encore Mode's intro was purposefully designed to be ambiguous whether Forces happened or not (and the Hardboiled Heavies start Encore Mode as broken and damaged, when they're shown to be functional afterwards), and the og Phantom Ruby appears in Forces after Mania and gets destroyed at the end of Forces. EDIT: Sonic Drift does have a (minimalist) story, as it is indeed a racing tournament, and Drift 2's JP manual establishes that Sonic was the winner of the first one. In addition, Amy's car from Drift appears in the IDW Comics.
Ian Flynn current timeline is like if instead of redesigning the sonic movie, character design, they changed The script to Loosely connect it to satam and then the movie came out and it didn’t do well but they ended up making a sequel anyways and they out right canonized the satam connection could you imagine how bad it would be

I don’t see Tails saving an entire island before he met Sonic considering the fact that Sonic is his inspiration and he gave Tails confidence so it should take place after Tails meets Sonic. I mean if tails could save/defend an entire island then how is he getting bullied for his two tails even though by what your timeline says, he could literally just drop a bomb on them or use some other gadget on them. Also although not being canon. Sonic Triple Trouble 16 Bit has a better plot and it makes more sense because Metal Sonic disguises as Knuckles which establishes his abilities to steal data for Sonic Heroes.
I am normally all for these types of videos. I like seeing different takes on the Sonic Timeline. However you provided little to no evidence on why you think this sequence of events is correct

@@mober7430 So after sonic 2 8-bit or after sonic 2 16-bit?

16bit is awesome but I wish it had a better ending
@@antyepthey added an update months ago that included a new ending tho
Do you ever plan on doing this with the modern games because I honestly really like this take
Tales tube destroyed the classic sonic timeline hey, there are a lot of plot holes
I think I found Ian Flynn 2 and that's not a compliment
