Overcooked 2. Horde Mode. Level 8. Full Kitchen Health. Co-Op

In Overcooked 2's new Horde Mode you defend the castle by feeding waves of enemies that attack it. Defeating enemies earns you coins (bottom left corner) that you can later use to repair broken barricades and unlock closed gates on the level.
Night of the Hangry Horde is out for Overcooked 2! And we are playing it! It adds Horde Mode, new recipes, new chefs, and more levels!

When the 4 watermelons appear at the end of wave 6 😭. One strategy is to leave one toast alive before wave 6 begins and cut up a bunch of simple pizzas and meats while maintaining the barrier.

That's a good strategy and you can try to get rid of one of the watermelons first at the end. It gets easier to finish them one by one. Have you made it now?

I really don't understand how you guys get that much money and don't have to bang the planks. We had exactly the same strategy and we BARELY were able to open the bottom right gate, and upkeeping the planks. Siggggh. >_>

I have two strategies. In this level I do not fix the planks at all unless there is someone there. This is more risky, but it saves a lot of money since you don't spend right away. The other strategy (I used in doing 100% in Winter Wonderland 1-4) is by always having one or two planks up at all times. This can also save you some money, but not as much as the first strategy, and will help you a lot if there is multiple enemies at one time.

When I saw that you got up to 1000 coins I was like "That's impossible!! These people aren't human!!" Because when me and my brother play this level, we never have enough money to fix the planks. Also your horde seems calmer than ours. Our horde is less patient and they break down the planks very quickly. Now, after watching your video a second time, I know why. It's because you have an earlier version of the DLC. Each pizza you serve gives you 100 coins, but in our game we only get 80 coins for each pizza served. It also costs us 200 coins to unlock one gate while it only costs 100 for yours😐

This is the hardest level in overcooked, the difficulty level just goes right up on this, there’s barely any strategy, just go as quick as possible.

There is strategy, like how much coins you save, put it's mostly making and cooking pizzas while creepy music is playing and rotten food trying to get in your kitchen

This level is all about strategy:
- save money instead of repairing during the first rounds, so that you can open the doors as early as possible
- prioritise bigger threats, so that at the end of rounds, there's only one Unbread remaining and you can take this oportunity to prepare in advance a lot of pizzas for the next round.
- eliminate apples one by one during the last round to give yourself more time

Why I think my Horde Mode Level 8 is more difficult than you? By the way, there are two important tips: Use the right side four buffers for flours, Try to eliminate one enemy each time, especially for the last four big apples.
