The excellent Gopeng's foods look delicious; reasonably cheap with no traffic jams. Gopeng is a historical Tin ore & Iron ore surviving peaceful town, situated equally 12 miles apart from Kampar and Ipoh.. Very good & meaningful video to enjoy and certainly helping to introducing and promoting businesses to Gopeng. Your videos attracted my attention and liking..!
Yes Gopeng I think is so underrated and off the radar of most tourists. I hope these videos will help to better promote Gopeng and make it a place that is more happening and worthy of visit. So many hidden gems 💎 there!

Would you believe it that we only got to know the people in the video on the day itself?
Here’s the story. Ah Liew said to me that we MUST go to Ipoh and eat the white sultan fish 🐠 and fresh water sai tou yue.. he sent us the photos! How to resist?
So off we went to Ipoh. Those friends that you see in the video are Zhen Hi Hao’s loyal customers and they have also watched our videos and wanted to meet us. This part Ah Liew DID NOT let me know. Neither was the stay at Haven Harvest, he just asked us not to book any accommodation and said he will arrange.
So this was how it all happened… “fans meet up”. Mr & Mrs Chau are in their late 80s / early 90s and others are elderly too. We are happy that we managed to bring joy and happiness ❤ to so many.

I would like to point 1 thing that is the vedio is rather dark , sometime is rather hard to see.

Sorry for that… a lot of times it’s not possible to have it brighter because I don’t carry those big and bulky studio lights. A lot of my filming is impromptu and unannounced. So I just have to make do with whatever light that is available in the restaurant or places.
Best is sunlight but sometimes when the subject is facing a very bright background then it will look very dark. Cannot avoid this as I don’t get to get the angles that I want all the time and filming is almost always spontaneous.
But anyway, will try to adjust better during post production. And thanks for watching and support.

Uncle Lee, where can I buy the white sultan fish?
Very difficult to get wild white sultan fish… usually need to catch it own self or if know good friends, they may sell it.. but very often it will be eaten by a group of good friends instead of being sold.
To travel for one month is very impossible unless you have great budget and lots of funds to do so
Travel for long need to have the alignment of what I call the 3 stars.
1. Time
2. Money
3. Energy
It’s not easy to have all these 3 available at the same time.
I always tell people:
when you are young, you have time and energy but no money.
When you are working, you have money and energy but no time.
When you are older, you have time and money but no energy.
So it’s very difficult to have all these 3 things. But I do hope more people will be able to achieve what they have set out to do.
