I accidentally clicked on your number one channel with the music and no chat. It's good to be back in the right place again, with the commentary, it just feels right. A stunning desk. I might try something similar, one day!
Not really for this one. I'll probably have zip tie connectors that I glue to the back of the main stretcher but not much other than that. I usually have all my cables up behind my monitors.
For many years living in temperate climates and building and sailing small craft bugs, fungus and mold have been my enemy. The best one size fits all solution for all of them is bleach, not a lot of it, but it seems to at least retard the process of decay.

Awesome work James! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
I do have to say you are absolutely awesome with the hand tools. I have really enjoyed this build. I am more of a hybrid woodworker myself. Nice work!
Thanks man that means a lot. More fun to come.

Best of luck. it is a lot of fun ... when it goes well.
Coming along very nice James!
thanks Steve!
thank you
Nice!
Could you use a vacuum bag to get rid of bugs?
Yes. In many cases that works perfectly. As long as you can draw a full vacuum on it. If it's only down a few bar it doesn't work very well.
Are you planning any fancy cable management?
Not really for this one. I'll probably have zip tie connectors that I glue to the back of the main stretcher but not much other than that. I usually have all my cables up behind my monitors.
I suppose if you fill their holes with epoxy, you won’t have bugs for long
💚

I've heard a lot of people who like that. I haven't had much chance to play with it but maybe someday I will.
