- Follow Lou through this Brand New 26' Mt Bachelor. This home features a few new unique touches. This home's exterior features dark windows and a bold cedar accent for contrast. The interior of this home is very light and bright featuring white cabinets with quartz countertops and a subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. The flex room is standard sized with standard windows. Adjacent to the kitchen is a deep walnut snack-bar. The main loft features a dual privacy/ storage wall to add more useable storage. The secondary loft utilizes a custom built industrial style pipe railing. The ribbon sweeping staircase in this home makes a great functional piece as well as an attractive addition to the interior almost like a functional art piece!

I love, love, love the stairs that you have to the sleeping loft.
I love this model with a livingroom in the flex space. It makes you feel like you are in a seperate space when you are in it (not like you are in a big box). I walked through this model at a show, and it was my favorite ❤ the one i was in had a tv set up on the wing walls in the corner. It felt like i was in just a regular livingroom in a conventional smaller home.

The staircase needs a crystal chandelier to set it off!
I liked everything except, the stairs over the stove. If someone walks up those stairs dirt and debris can fall off of their feet onto the stove. You should put a wall or some type of barrier there.

Can stairs with railing & storage be put in vs ribbon stairs case?
Yes that is an option. In some cases we need to remove a window to make space but it is possible.
