It appears all Siglent handheld Oscilloscopes have reached end of life and as of 31 Dec 2021 have been discontinued. Siglent's website says new "compatible replacement products" will be debuting soon.
For a few days I have been considering purchasing this product. It looks like a good product, but I just confirmed on the website that the product has been discontinued. Thank you.
@@k.hanbok2297 Yes, I've been waiting patiently for the new Siglent handheld scope(s). I do require all I/O Isolation, but cannot afford the Rohde & Schwarz Scope Rider, nor the comparable Fluke Scope Meter. I purchased the new, cheap Owon handheld HDS2102S (I/Os not isolated of course) from Digi-Key just to have a "throw down" scope in the meantime...
@@Cleofizoid Today, I bought the OWON HDS272S to use for a while. This scope was my go-to option for under $150 with the sale on aliexpress. I will also wait for the release of the new Siglent handheld scope for work. Siglent handheld scopes will occupy an important place in my work. Naturally, all I/O is isolated and good LCD, hopefully the performance will be better. Thanks again for your information.😄
Not sure if you are still looking at the comments but I just got one of these but cannot work out how to get waveform data from memory to the PC, connecting with the cable the Windows 11 PC doesn't recognise any drivers and no access to the memory appears. There is nothing on the RS website (they market the instrument as RSH810 but it looks exactly the same as the one you are suing), and the user manual also doesn't say anything of how to get data from the instrument via cable or USB. If you are able to demonstrate the steps required to get the data off the instrument that would be really helpful.
But the latest firmware is so bugged and ugly. If you use the scope with dark mode screen, most of the time when you turn the device on, the screen is messed up and the only solution is to switch to normal (white) screen mode to make it readable again. And the frequency counter is almost impossible to read because they put white numbers into the green outline, so smart... Support said they have an update with fixes within a month, it was 9 months ago...
Isn't an unpacking and promotional video a bit too undignified for a professor? Especially when it is of such poor quality that no attention was even paid to the display colors (although it is obvious from the beginning of the video that this is precisely the weak point of this promotional video.)
Hi Prof.Mughal,
Enjoyed your product review! Looking forward to more videos! :)

Does it have color temperature options ?

@@k.hanbok2297 did you end up getting the new one? if so is it any good?
For viewers the black background is much better, this might be useful for your next video. Cheers.
Ammar Kurd dear Ammar, you’re right :) I only realized that after I had finished recording. Lesson learnt :) hope you enjoyed the video.

Really busy these days, but will try my best.
I’m a hobbyist but I know my future, so I’m getting it

Hi from where did you get the firmware?
@2010shadow80 I think it came in with a usb.
You prefer a white background…nice, but with a black background your viewers would have been able to see much better what’s happening on the screen

Nobody cares 🎉😂
