Senior 5’11 195 lbs
Rutgers WR Bo Melton perfectly embodies what a playmaker looks like. Give him the ball & watch him do what he does. After seeing what Deebo Samuel has done in the run & pass game, teams will look for players like Melton who can help in both areas. Oh yeah, his 4.34 forty ain't too shabby. His speed will be coveted among scouts. Rutgers has not had any consistency or much talent at the QB position during Melton’s career, but he still managed to show out. He’s someone who can put up better numbers at the next level than he did in college.

His story reminds me of Stefon diggs, top recruit that goes to the hometown/parents alma mater and has no QB play, will get drafted in the mid to late rounds then come in and dominate. I can see it already
Only difference is Diggs was one of the top 10 players overall in his class when he came out of high school, but Melton could've definitely gone to a big name school if he wanted

Rutgers didn’t have one QB who threw double digit TDs the entire time WR Bo Melton played for the Scarlet Knights. In only one of those seasons, the QBs threw more TDs than INTs. For example, Rutgers QBs only threw 5 TDs with 22 INTs. Let that sink in. With all that said, Melton still managed to show out without the most talent around him.

@@George-Cancel Yes it is. Bo Melton runs low 4.3 "Laser" time. As a senior in high school Bo Melton lost the Tournament of Champions by a nose to the Colts star RB Johnathan Taylor, who ran a "Laser" timed 4.39 40 combine time. At Wisconsin, Taylor bulked upped, that's why he ran only 4.39.
And the offensive line was garbage which didn't give the QB time to throw the majority of times. With all of those inept issues, Melton still managed to make plays. Just imagine what he could have been capable of doing if he had a QB with arm talent and a offensive line that could have held defenders back. 🤔

Thanks for watching! And I agree. That's why people can't overlook a player solely based off stats. Many players have put up better numbers in the NFL than in college.

this is aging well. He has hardly played for Green Bay, but once he got into the lineup, he started making plays. I love this kid. He reminds me of Donald Driver, because he never gets tackled easily and he continues to fight for every yard.

Anyone know why he dropped to 7th?? This guy looks insane and his awareness, catching, speed and route running is incredible. Definitely seems better than Swain, Hart and maybe Eskridge.
@@aqueousbird2691 you’re guess is as good as mine, I can only assume because it’s Rutgers and had poor QB play, reminds me of Hill or AB. Not trying to make those comparisons yet but that’s the feel he gives me. I think he will definitely jump out ahead of those guys before the seasons up

He got hurt for 3 games in early 2021. 0 off the field issues. His qb wasn't good so his numbers don't show It. It was a pretty bad offense but he was a diamond in the rough. He's projected to go round 5. You've never heard him cause his quarterback wasn't good. Every time he burned a receiver he would be underthrown
@@conmacftw2496 his quarterbackS weren't good. He was at Rutgers for 5 years and every single quarterback he had was terrible. Not to mention that he had 4 different OCs in those 5 years as well.

I think every single WR on the current active roster is capable of making some level of impact for this team. Keep defenses completely guessing

Washington Commanders fans that want to spend our most valuable pick at 11 on a WR especially the ones pounding the table for Chris Olave that early when we can trade back and end up with probably 2 extra quality starters while being able to grab a guy like this 3rd 4th round are just crazy. This guy has Terry Mclaurin type written all over him, honestly, if he'd taken the offer to go to Ohio State instead of going to Rutgers like his mom and Dad we'd probably be getting that 1st round talk.
