One of the awesome benefits of using 5 frame nuc boxes on the One Queen Keeper is that you can use a double screen board to start a nucleus colony right on the hive. If it takes, you just remove it and you're all set! If it doesn't take, you can simply remove the double screen board and your colony is still intact.

I always spoke to my club members in a 3 month advanced format. Most of them regretted not taking my advice/ordering ahead of time and fell behind my lectures and their preparations for the season at hand. Potentially! The bees below cant touch the bees above (stop the spread of queen phermone)... not sure what the distance is for this to occur. My distance between the two screens is 3/4 inch.
