In Japan, love marriage is more common.
Arranged marriage was common until 1970 in Japan, but now it's just 5% is arranged marriage.
So I filmed [what do Japanese feel about arranged marriage culture in India].

Arranged marriage is not like forcing you to marry a single person. If you don't like the person you can refuse to marry he / she.

In my place even if it is an arranged marriage you get to choose the person whom you want to marry. And there is quite a lot of time until the marriage comes in which you can deepen your knowledge about your partner and get to spend time with her/him. So it's a win win in both cases whether it may be arranged or love.

In India its not like everyone do arrange marriage, My parents had love marriage with full family support .
In my opinion, arrange marriage is not like force marriage . It is like blind date . In Western culture boy and girl are meet each other and they talk about themselves if u don't like that person u leave that person. In India arrange marriage is like that but the both boy and girl and their family are talk each other .if boy or girl not like each other the plan is drop out . If u like each other it ends in marriage. some persons done arrange marriage,some persons done love marriage. My sister also done love marriage

See arranged marriage in India means that your parents show you the picture of various girls /boys and tell about their qualifications and age etc if the boy and girl both agree then only the marriage is done if you don't like the girl/boy you can deny it
IN my opinion both marriage r good coz in love marriage we know that person before marriage and we say for arrange marriage we like to know that person better so I think both r 😉ok .

It's doesn't goes for all India in northeast we have only love marriage coz our society is liberal to women too and I think arrange marriage goes for maximum of mainland Indians.
My parents are also in favour of love marriage and thats the reason my sister get love marriage.....

Arranged marriage in India may take longer than love marriage cuz u have a certain period between engagement and marriage depending on family situations and zodiac's of both participant's

The type of arranged marriage foreigner think happening in india is a story of a decade before..now a days the preference of the groom/bride is very crucial...if you are 30 or above and you still don't have any girlfriend/boyfriend, parents got concerned and they start looking for a girl/boy...there is nothing wrong in it...they do that out of love...if you don't like that person, they will not force you..
Most of think in India only parents force their son or daughter to arrange but its not true we live in 21st cenetury things are way change and way better and now in days parents are open minded if their son is happy 😌they happy they don't interfair or forced as some Japanese said some are OK but long hair guy said he's friend forced gunshot marriage 😅 but he's friend marriage not go for long so in my family all my relatives do love marriage and some are do love but change in arrange 😁ya this called love marriage too but forced m not seeing now but in 100% in India 90% are doing love marriage coz all consider they fall in love wit someone then marriage and they understand each other well & 5%u know village area but if their sons are happy in love marriage so thrir parents have no problem coz I see one of this case 😃coz India is very change and parents understand is their son/daughter happy or not ...my mom dad has arrange marriage in their time but they are happy but now somone force or do few marriage go last long 🙄...but in India most boys including me too 😉prefer love marriage is better

Q2): nope sorry I can't because I got regretted with something's in my life with parents. example: I want to study in some other college it's a best CLG in my city I liked it. but my parents forced me to join a college that they like after I joined the CLG of their joice I realized the college is very bad at teaching & they only matters money so I forced my parents & got TC from the CLG but even though I can't join the CLG I like most even after that they forced me to join one of the other college they like.
That's why I can't accept my parents decision sorry to say this pls sorry I think my parents are very very selfish

Marriage should be marriage . Don't put some label like " love or arrange marriage" . If love marriage is best than there has to be very low divorce rates in the western countries. India has the lowest divorce rates in the world. Indian marriage is scientific marriage . Christian marriage and islamic marriage , are similar , they are some kind of contracts because both are Abrahamic religions.
