I'm in the historic city of Kutaisi, Georgia's oldest city -- which is a joy to travel and explore. Beside the old city center is where 75 year old barber Raguli & his son Alexander, from Georgia, work to keep the barbering tradition alive in their family.
I went in only wanting a shave, but while I was waiting, I saw how awesome barber Raguli's son's haircuts are.
I'm traveling Georgia, and I love it. But I'm gaining weight. I just did the classic Georgian weight loss therapy. Watch for that video too. 😅😅

Don’t know what the haircut is called, but I think it’s based off of war days, when you would wear a helmet and needed the hair for extra cushioning, and shaved sides for air flow to cool and let sweat out. I think that’s true. Anyhoo, Jason’s camerawork is under appreciated. Great video man.
