Colt will make a very good pet reporter ! He is full of excitement and enthusiasm ! God bless your family and hopefully you have all enjoyed our Sydney. Come back please
Kangaroo meat is hunted not farmed. There's forty to fifty million kangaroos in the country and they have some wild reproductive adaptations to Australia's drought and flood cycles which are worth checking out. The upshot being that hunting has almost no impact on their numbers.
In Australia, we affectionately call the Ibis a bin chicken as the rumage through bins for food. And that little pademelon with the joey was very cute (it wasnt a roo or wallaby)..
The quackers sounds like kwokers is how its pronounced i probably spelt it wrong but pronounced kwokers, the look on your childrens faces are priceless their faces light up at all the different varieties of animals that we have here, i hope you enjoy your time in our best and beautiful unique country with our rare flora and fauna. Greetings from a fellow Aussie, you have a beautiful family and i enjoyed your video. Enjoy yourself and i hope your stay here meets all your dreams and expectations.😊👋🇭🇲🦘🐨👋
So nice the zoo in the australia, so manh animals exotic , brookly & colt impressive because they are not afraid of animals takecare more blogging in nature
Although a Dingo is a canine, it is not a wild dog. The dog and the dingo are separate species of canines. I follow an Australian family (dog trainers/rehabilitators) outside of Sydney and in addition to their large pack of rescued dogs, cats and race horse, they have 2 rescued/orphaned dingos. They are beautiful.
You have one up on me - I don't think I've ever seen a Quokka (pron. 'Kwocka') as I've never been to WA. They probably have them at Taronga Zoo but I haven't been there since my teens. Thanks for the vid.
the inland taipan is the most venomous land snake in the world , us aussies have most of the top 25 , i regularly see the 2nd most the eastern brown snake around where i live , and i get a lot of red bellied black snakes in my yard that are around the 10th most venomous.
In Byron Bay, I saw a huge black and white monitor lizard run into a garage, maybe searching for mice, then run out and race 50m up a tree with incredible speed. And I saw a huge King Parrot on a clothesline and a fat python snake crossing the road. Also, I saw a platypus swimming in a ditch on the side of the road.
Great to see you all having a great time in our country 👍 Did you have a chance to visit Melbourne? It’s usually below Sydney on most tourists’ list but is well worth a visit if you have the opportunity.
Only two things I found wrong in this video is like someone else commented the pronunciation of Quokko and also Emu, Quokkas are native to Rottnest Island which is a very popular tourist spot near Perth and you can get up close to them and take a selfies with them for free.
We have a name for those annoying "ibises"...."bin chickens" 😂 you see 'em stealing food or hanging around large garbage bins (I think you call 'em dumpsters) and feed off any food they can find them. They're essentially the birds we Aussies love to hate 😂
Colt can really host a kids educational channel. His intelligence is exceptional ❤
We think so too! 💯

Aww that you so much! He has such a genuine connection with animals.

Thanks for watching :) I (Erin) hadn't even heard of a quokka until this day.

You guys need to visit Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth where there are so many quokkas. (though you can’t touch or feed them)

We haven’t had the chance to visit Melbourne but we really want to. We hear it’s taking over as the largest city.
I’m from Sydney & didn’t even know that this place existed 😉
So happy you know now. It was a great place to learn and be hands on with the animals.

South Korea next 😮😮
1.14 its supposed to cost 160 aud dollar altogether, according to their website.
Like 42 dollar for adults and 28 for children.
I think we tried to do the conversion in our heads. We need to use the app 😊
@@AlwaysBeChanging Yeah reasses the math and re-check their website.
😇
We don't call it downtown, we call it CBD "central business district".

OK MOM, when Colt is 25, out of college and you ask him, are you ready to move out? But mom, you said ---
Haha. I might keep him forever 🥰
Australian animals are best observed in their natural environment rather than as caged exhibits.
We would agree with you on that. But we're grateful for the experience with them.
The ibis we call bin chickens and you'll see them everywhere and scavenge out of bins around the cities.

Another fun fact wombats do cube poo's.
I imagine the larger kangaroos could not be contained in that sanctuary.
Maybe not. I know how powerful they can grow to be.
Fun fact dingos can't bark.
