Andy I’m not even pre-med and I followed you for years. I realized that I didn’t want to do medicine a while back but I enjoy still learning about the field and nutrition. WE are proud of YOU for the drilling you went through, showing everyone what it’s like as a med student at the rawest feelings. Fly forward man. ✌🏼

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 from personal experience, a kind anesthesia Dr makes unplanned surgery so much better. I will never forget the him suctioning me (in the best way lol). Patients are so vulnerable and that connection is critical. Best wishes for your residency
i 100% agree, the amount of patient care relationship building you get out of anesthesia is up to the individual. but choosing to be there for your patient, even if it is in those few minutes prior to surgery could make a world of difference so why not do it :)

definitely had so many nightmares about overlseeping through match day!!! Funny, turns out I couldn't sleep at all the whole night before, so I definitely didn't miss it! But after being so sleep deprived and celebrating all last week, I am still wiped out and feeling lazier than ever. Congrats and cheers to class of 2024! Can't wait to start residency this summer!

Congrats! Wasn't the waiting so hard!? I was shaking the whole time between the beginning of my ceremony to the time of opening the envelope. Even so much so that I was shaking from excitement up until the next day. And being in the mstp, I can definitely sympathize with the tears of how much of a culmination this event feels like. It is an amazing feeling to know that all your hard work has come to fruition. Well done and I pray for a smooth transition to your new chapter.

Congrats!!! New Haven & Yale is a wonderful place, don't know if you've been there in person yet but you'll be blown away. Not sure if you know this but pizza is a big deal there, many people claim that New Haven invented it. They have their own style, with some odd toppings... But it's great. My favorite place is Sally's, super close to campus. And NYC is only 2 hours away on the train for more awesome experiences and more great pizza! Enjoy it, you've helped so many people through this channel and will be a great anesthesiologist!
