Why do people do that? They see someone looking at something and it's like flies to a light. They have to nudge themselves in there next to you to see what you're looking at. It happens to me at the store too. It's annoying as hell...

I always cringe when Kayla starts "her pile" right in the middle of the other merchandise at a sale and then leaves it unattended while she looks at everything else. Nobody else shopping knows that is "your" pile! It just looks like any other group of goods displayed for shoppers.
Sooner or later someone is going to unknowingly take and buy something while Kayla isn't looking, or else cause an argument when they innocently pick up something they want, not knowing it's already "claimed".
Ask to keep your stuff behind wherever the seller is sitting, or ask for a box so you can carry it with you, or SOMETHING other than leaving it out in the open.

Needless to say, my boyfriend thought he was doing the ultimate i should say, until i fought my way out of the tent. He thought i lost my mind. I was beating the heck out of my head several minutes until the June bug decided to make his way out. Omg i haven't been camping since. And i got rid of the boyfriend that night too.

Talk to more than 1 person who ordered a limited amount of items, and got lots of freebies. One ordered 10 frozen turkeys and received 100. She was shocked that I couldn't take them back. Hopefully she took my suggestion to give frozen turkeys to shelters and soup kitchens. And, ewww, bus in the ear? No, thank you!

    • @chloeandchanel7046
      @chloeandchanel7046 9 месяцев назад +13

I've seen people on these types of videos get upset and it makes zero sense! If people want top dollar for their items, a yard/garage sale is *not* the way to go. The benefits to a yard/garage sale are selling large amounts of clutter in just a day or two vs sitting on the items until or if they sell, getting cash that you do not have to mess with come income tax season haha, not having to spend time researching the value of every single item, no time spent listing each item individually, not having to pay listing fees to list each item, not having to pay seller *and* PayPal fees on each item, not having to spend time shipping each item, not having all the expenses of shipping (multiple trips driving there/actual shipping prices/buying boxes/buying all the packing supplies like tape and bubble wrap/etc), not having to constantly check on all your listings and respond to all questions/low-ball offers, not having to deal with people that win/buy your item and then do not pay, not having to deal with people that want to return items after doing all that work, etc. So many people think re-sellers do nothing to earn money, yet they have tons of time and money invested in how they earn money!

And I don’t feel like giving you a deal when I can sell it myself. And it’s even worse when the people want to bar down to the cheapest amount as a check in eBay as they’re standing there it’s like used to be a garage service so you could buy something used for yourself or for your family and now it’s a whole different rig. No thanks. I’ll resell it myself. They think they’re helping others, don’t realize what’s going on.

Young lady I literally felt your pain when you told your bug in your ear story. When I was 8 yrs old a brown dog tick crawled in my ear & of course went as deep down in my ear as it could possibly go and hid so that my Dr couldn't see it, ever! My mom took me to the Dr every 2 weeks for 13 weeks trying to get me well & my "ear infection" gone hence we were going on vacation to Hot Springs Arkansas to see our family & go to the lake that they lived right down the from but with an "ear infection" I wasn't going to be allowed in the lake water. I still had the terrible ear ache on vacation but got to go to the lake anyway & get in the water as long as I didn't get water in my ear, but being 8yrs old, with all older cousins & brother, one tossed me in the lake & under I went. When we got back to my Aunt's house I was in terrible pain, so my Mom got me a Dr appointment in Hot Springs. Before we left to go, my aunt got her flashlight to look down in my ear & could see something MOVING AROUND! She got her tweezers & pulled a big, fat brown dog tick out of my ear! Instantly the pain went away! She put the tick in a little jar with a lid & took me to the Dr. He gave me a tetanus shot & a bottle of ear drops antibiotics, and my ear never hurt again. ❤. Some day I'm going to write a book telling all the things that have happened to me because most are unbelievable but thank goodness my mom took pictures or a video of everything that happened. Therefore, I can include pictures in my book lol ✌️.
Thank you for another great video and story about your camping, your bugs life of living in your ear😮❤

I bought a basket that looks like a laundry basket a few years ago, that has wheels on one side and a handle on the other side. It cost about $6, and holds a lot. I have never used it to yard sale, but it would work great for that.

my daughter had a bug in her ear and had an 8 hour drive home. She thought it was just water, but could hear it crawling and it just went deeper and deeper. She is an ER nurse and NEVER takes a little ear pain lightly! The video her husband took is gross and priceless. The doctor was slightly annoyed until he was victorious with his find! Yours being crunchy is icky....I have heard how painful it is...

I’ve camped hundreds of nights and never had a bug crawl in my ear but I have while sleeping comfortably in my own bed lol.
About a year ago while sleeping, I felt something on my head and brushed at it with my hand and inadvertently knocked it into my ear canal. It immediately started scratching around and I jumped out of bed shaking my head (I must have looked like a crazy tweaker 😂). As it was literally scratching at my ear drum (most terrifying feeling I’ve ever experienced by the way) I ran to the bathroom and grabbed a q-tip. Well that just pushed him farther in and I didn’t want a dead spider in my ear so it quickly abandoned that idea.
I calmed myself as best I could and tried to clear my head (pun intended) and think logically… out of nowhere I started thinking about the song itsy bitsy spider and I had an epiphany! “The rain came down and washed the spider out”. That’s it! I poured water into my ear until he floated to the top and crawled out on to my earlobe.
Talk about hibby jibbys! To this day I panic when awoken by a random strand of hair or wind 😂

I went to a charity table sale they called it. They were selling Walmart stuff more than it was at Walmart! It was stupid and sellers were talking loud to each other…saying people were cheap. I was pissy lmao I said far from cheap but to sell Walmart crap for more than it sold at the store is pathetic. I said should have just asked for donations and scrap the trash.😂😂Anyways they made no money we all just left.

In 1983 I woke up early to bad ear pain. I went to the ER and found out a bug had crawled into my ear. It was up against the ear drum and periodically would flap its wing which caused severe pain. I was 8 months pregnant so they would not give me any kind of pain medication. They used a water pick on my ear also along with a very long pair of tweezers. They winded up getting the bug out in pieces. I was in so much pain I was in tears. The Dr kept apologizing to me and would stop periodically to give me a break. I am now terrified of most bugs. I feel your pain girl.

Congrats on hitting 107K subscribers! And I also have a creepy insect/ear story! I was about 4 years old and playing outside when a fly flew in my ear. The buzzing sound was horrible! My wonderful mother believed me and took me to the ER. The doctor on duty didn't believe me but my mother insisted that he check my ear. Sure enough there was a dead fly in there. I still can't stand to have anything buzzing around my ears!

Follow up: I saw you walk by a black bag hanging between the yellow ladder and the jackets that said "MSR" with a red mountain logo. That's Mountain Safety Research, they sell a lot of quality camping/backpacking equipment and that appeared to be a cooking set hanging there. Keep an eye out for that and other MSR gear. GSI is another, similar brand to look out for.
