I'll say this in reply to your comment... it's called Southern Charm and Hospitality and when any tourist comes to my state (East Tennessee) they never want to leave us and half fall so in love with the locals/natives that they eventually move to East Tennessee. So her helping that lady is the norm for southern people.❤

I totally agree with what you’re saying about the elderly lady because I am in a position right now I am moving and selling everything I have and I live in a small town and I live on a fixed income with Social Security. In the town I live in everybody wants to nickel and dime you for everything that you’re selling no matter whether it’s valuable or not. And everything I’m selling. I’m trying to sell it at a reasonable price but yet get a little bit of value out of it so I can have money to move with to my new place because I’m moving several miles away. I’m not taking any furniture to cut down on my expense of moving so when I get to where I’m moving, I’m going to have to buy some furniture so I need a little bit of money off of what I’m selling to rebuy some furniture. But buyers don’t really care. They just want everything at the lowest price they can get it $.50 or 1.00 where I live.
I'm so proud of you. So many people would have just taken all that stuff for free if offered, and you gave her a really fair price and helped her too. That $2,000 day is the universe paying you back for your goodness.

I disagree. It's all in the way we were raised. Us Southerners call any age dear, hon, sweetie, and other forms of endearment. As long as they are used sincerely, it's all okay. If you knew more about Kayla, you would know she was practically raised by her grandparents, in a home with a big magnolia.tree in the front yard, and the older generation hold a special place in her heart. She sincerely thinks of older folks as being dear. It's okay Kayla, just be yourself. You are a gem.

This was a GREAT video. So nice to give that woman $40, but no surprise. Sometimes I think that selling in-laws' stored items is easier than selling off people's own things that they have attachments to. LOVED the "SOLD" review a lot.

That lady was so nice, and so were you to help her set out her things and then insist that she take $40.00 for all her stuff. Most other folks would have stood there and let her lay out the stuff before them. Your mama raised you right!

That lady was just the sweetest! Omgoodness and wanting to give you stuff for free for helping, wow! Some Awesome finds today. On those Christmas ones that didnt work, can you part out some of those pieces and make money on them? What awesome sales too! Way to go!
If someone wants to devote a little extra time examining the wiring, maybe it will turn out to be an easy fix. Also, sometimes in the process of putting away decorations, the cords get mixed up. Just because an adapter plug fits a receiving hole doesn't necessarily mean it makes the right connection. This is why I save adapters when I see them. Couldn't hurt.

You have no idea how much I needed y'all's videos today. I live in Maine not far from the mass shooting last night. The only thing on TV in all of our state is the manhunt for the shooter. I've been deliberately looking for my favorite RUclipsrs that I watch everyday. Some are resellers like yourself and others are families that are wholesome and funny. I really appreciate your manners. I grew up following my parents to garage sales on the weekends and I would get truly offended for the homeowners/hosts who had to deal with the way some members of the public mistreated them and/or their belongings (helping themselves to unpacked boxes, pushing/shoving and rude remarks). I love that you asked before going through the boxes. I am still amazed at how some folks arrive and start tearing through things like they own the place. Thanks for sharing...
