Important disclaimer for others: i tried invideo AI. 90% of the videos it generates is AI garbage and looks just completely off. Perhaps if you need to make the most simple slapstick cartoon videos it is good, other than that it's not there yet. I wish it was though.
You're right about invideo's tone and content suggestions. I find Invideo is most helpful producing storyboard's and focal points of the message.

All these AIs seem to provide very little creator control. Is anyone aware of AI tools that act as more of an editing assistant or at least accept much more input about what you want like pictures linked to certain content, order or grouping of content without needing a polished script, editing existing raw footage into a coherent video, ability to make it ask questions about creative decisions as it develops the video, and ability to ask for more content (for example, if two clips are really great together, but it needs audio of me saying "and so that means" to provide a coherent transition)?
I have a professional project where I want to do the voice over.
I occasionally want to display specific images and power point slide style bulleted lists linked to particular audio, but otherwise I have a lot of screen time to fill & I don't want to talk into the camera
I want to have certain visual themes consistent through multiple videos
I will be doing a lot of research. What would be really useful is being able to record my screen for ~4 hours of research, talk about what I'm learning, and then have that condensed down to a well organized video
I have done one video of a screen recording of me doing research. It was so daunting to edit it that I'm just recording new audio and planning on repeating the web browsing I did to sync up with my voiceover.
Collaborations are great, esp with other creators in your niche and tag them to GIVE credit...
So stealing other people content and turn them into shorts ? Is that a business ? … also who wants to edit ? No one ? Well people who actually like video like that …

I tried Invideo a couple of times,and it seems to repeat the same images in different parts of the videos (personally I think AI tools can be a help but enough just to produce agood perfect video - even whenb you already provide the all text/script (my experience with Invideo).
I liked the video presentation but I tried the steps and the video that was generated did not adhere to the duration that I specified. I specified 30 seconds and a 2 minute video was generated. I expected the script would have been summarized down to 30 seconds! Perhaps it was because I used the free version of Kapwing???
Also, I tried to export the video with the free plan but Kapwing indicated that I had exceeded the size.
Well I'd like to see how much these tools will improve in the near future, but for now I'll keep looking for different ones

Veed just used today n I'd u have script is great they have two voice over options there is female n child voice and or record voice over w own voice but def time consuming line by line input
