Lol no one would be shocked to see a Ferrari 458, some people might look but that's it. Have you ever been to a European capitol like London? Every other car is a ferrari, lamborghini or even bugatti.
When I went to Tokyo, I saw several supercars from Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, McLarens, etc. In fact, within 5 minutes of stepping off the train from Haneda I saw a Ferrari and a Lamborghini Urus. However my hotel was in Ginza which is probably why. I also saw a few more in Kyoto as well.
there are lots of super cars driving around in tokyo on the weekends. you can even see them up close when they park in front of shopping malls in places like shinjuku. it's a common sight all around the city. no surprise considering that greater tokyo has nearly 40 million people.
I used to be a Lambo fan since I was a child... until my girlfriend rented for me a 488 and a Huracan for a whole week as a valentine's present. I must admit I changed sides. The Lambo feels like you're trying to tame an alien while the Ferrari seems just like an extension of your body, the feelings, the reactions... it just fit you perfectly like a glove. I envy you in a sane way.
i still prefer Lambo. What I also don't like about Ferrari is that you can't modify it without Ferrari yapping into what you're doing with your car you've paid for. seriously ridiculous.
Looks like most japanese do not care much which car you driving. Same thing in Russia, if Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley and etc. will be parked on street or dive by. Not many people will even pay attention. Younger ones maybe more easily surprised by car like that.
Now this the place where you actually love to drive ,these cars are purely for enjoyment of your success ,there are people who would just buy to show off but the real dudes know ,how to enjoy these rides that gives you thrill.
Me I always take a quick glance at supercars that drive by because I always dreamed of having one myself, but usually anywhere I go and there is a supercar that passes by, it gets little to no reaction. I think the fascination with luxury and exotic vehicles is slowly lessening over time.
I'm not surprised... the people there are normal, it's just that the vehicles there are very expensive and strict... that's why the people there look at you... Japan produces Honda and Kawasaki bro, it's normal for them 😂😂
In America there would be people showing thumbs up, yelling nice car, taking pictures. But it seems like in Japan people don't seem to care about the car or just don't react to it probably due to cultural difference.
Come in France with your Ferrari and the people wil start to split on your car of damage it. Pure french jealousy. Nice to see that in Japan you can still drive your beautiful supercar without feeling agressed
I know there are supercars there but is there anywhere to truly drive a car like this how it is meant be driven? How harsh are speeding laws there? I cannot imagine to lenient
the only reason anyone owns a supercar in a densely populated city is to show off. the daily massive traffic jams, the slow speed limits, the dense crowds walking around you, means the potential of that supercar is absolutely wasted
Japan is a small country to begin with, so this is true no matter where you drive. By the way, I am envious of the wide space in foreign countries such as the United States.
Humm good wonder why Japan isn’t making their own supercar ( ice ) if they have such a very great automobile industry,it would be great to see a Japanese supercar on par with the very best, nice video
Japanese people are not fond of showing off or luxury. They are just looking at where this loud and annoying noise is coming from. I don't think they will care about Ferrari.
You know, there's a word in Russian - pont. It means huge, beautiful and useless deer antlers. When a person tries to show everyone how cool, rich and fashionable he is for no reason, they say that he is throwing ponts. There is no respect or serious attitude towards such people, they are biowaste, not a human being.
Ferrari,s and Lamborghini,s are just not that special anymore to be honest, Oh look Another Ferrari, so what, I would rather look at a nice Skyline GTR or a nice Supra, I think there more interesting if I’m being honest guys, Drive safe.

You're right. Even in Japan, overseas travelers have a strong reaction. The Japanese pretend to be unaware.
Is there a specific reason for this ? Cause I can’t find a reason why wouldn’t someone like a supercar in the streets or take a picture

thank you. Brown (Quioio) leather is also beautiful, isn't it.

Same. I'm 31 years old and from Norway, and I saw more Ferraris on my 20day trip to Tokyo than I have during the rest of my life.
Man this is so satisfying to watch 😭😭😭😭
thank you. If you are a man, such a car is the best.
Always thanks for nice video and nice cars :) and That Exhaust system is the best for 458 ever, it really sounds like a F1!!
I am very happy. Thanks for your nice comments. I also think the 458 is the last F1 sound of a V8 Ferrari.

Hey Michael, I'm visiting Shibuya on Oct 18-Nov 3, if you're free anytime would love to go for a ride if you can make it happen for a huge fan!

They're used to seeing them. In Japan, the car culture is almost all about modifications, so they wouldn't even look at a regular Ferrari.
