How about: Shooting gloves, or a hot-shoe protector or a hot-shoe bubble level, or a camera rain cover or some center pinch lens caps or an extra camera battery or a gear head to replace that tripod ball head ...mostly affordable things I have asked Santa for in the past. BTW, that tripod Matt recommended is my favorite, and goes pretty much everywhere with me.
