He tears up around 2:40 as he switches from speaking as a psycholgist to his second profession in IT cyberwarfare. This man is fascinating. I can relate to identifying as a pacifst but changing because of this war. I have had heard similar American Friends (Quakers) who chose to fight in WW II instead opting to be concientious objectors and operating in noncombat situations. They realized the importance of defense, even if it meant killing to end evil. I hope he returns to Times Radio.

There are plenty of native Russians fighting on Ukrainian side, both from within Ukraine, and outside of it within Russia's territory.
That's because they know that by fighting against Putler they are fighting for Russia's future as much as they are fighting for Ukraine's independence.
Your divisive toxicity accomplishes nothing but further discord and mistrust from those that are unfortunately brainwashed with Putler's propaganda.
So unless you are a False Flag Troll and that is your objective, hush and think before you post more counterproductive drivel.

Dr. Vlad Beliavsky, speaks to a vital issue of training soldiers in psychological self-care, for which most soldiers sent into battle are rarely prepared for. A smart and caring Doctor. His fellow soldiers were fortunate to have him in their unit. In the Soviet Union, psychology and psychiatry were used by the Russian occupiers to torture Ukrainian dissidents.

Cognitive Restructuring Therapy. The patient is lead through memories in a safe space and after the event. Reducing the emotions attached to that memory and reducing the panic attacks and other PTSD. Some situations can outmatch our ability to adapt. TbI or traumatic brain injury should also be ruled out through scans.

Thankyou Dr Vlad Beliavsky. From the outside looking in, you are right that Russia will rebuild if they are defeated now. I don't think that destroying the military machine now will be an end to it.
We are stuck in the need for perpetual militarization. . becoming part of NATO... emulating the south north Korea situation.
Social media and becoming a prosperous democracy for Russian citizens to look at, may lead to another collapse.
    Slava Ukraine.
