Jesus saved me in 1988, and Steven C. Chapman was one of the first Christian artists I heard. This has been a long road, and I've been listening to Steven's music all along the journey. I've 'grown up' with him, and as we age, this song is perfect. Not that cute young thing anymore, the kids are grown, people have gone on to eternity, chapters of life close...but all through it, we know that our Abba Father will bring us beyond this world to be with Him, from glory....to Glory! Thanks, Steven, for once again reminding us and for touching our hearts, and for giving another message of hope for a bruised and hurting world. Can't wait to hear what you do when we are in heaven! Just because you haven't had your God-revelation yet, doesn't mean it won't come, and you have to allow it. Maybe you just need to reach out in prayer, and listen with an open heart and open eyes. God speaks in many different ways.
That's what in scared of. Growing up. Having a family is scary and in scared i won't ve able to raise them like my parents raised/raising us. I'm still young (teen) but still! I have so many friends and best friends and we're all so tight. Because in today's society, you don't want someone religious with good music. You want someone who can wear anything and make it 'look good' while singing about anything and everything. Our world isn't as it used to be when God was amazing in schools, you could bring your bible in the military, and you let your kids watch TV without having to worry about them watching something profoundly bad on a cartoon channel. But there is still hope :), always hope! Things will get better. I believe it!
I listened to this song when I was a very young child, but every time I come back to it, it reminds me of how God has always been there for me. Though I was a child who didn’t strive to search for God, he was always there to help my family through the tough times. The God I questioned as a child would reveal himself to me when I grew older. He freed me from my depression, and if was later I would’ve been dead by now. God is good, and I’m living in his grace, mercy, love, patience, faithfulness, and righteousness. God works in many ways, and this song has a holy anointing. It tendered my heart today and reminded me that I may mess up sometimes, but he’ll always have his arms open to embrace me again.
This man of God has such a testimony. We hosted one of his concerts at our church ⛪️ My sister and grandson volunteered to work it that night. It was wonderful. I can’t wait for him to come back when this COVID junk is over. He was in Texas last month and my older sister and brother-in-law saw him and she said it was such a great concert 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

I accepted God two years ago and I've fallen so far since then. My addiction to pornography resurfaced. I started partying A LOT. My grades fell and my relationship with my parents also. I got in a fight with my mom today. I just walked away, punched a hole in the wall, to go to porn (my usual stress reliever) On my way I heard this song. I stopped to listen and found the words penetrating my heart. I broke down crying knowing that I can still make it home. He still loves me. I don't know why.

He made the earth and our magnificent brains and everything else around us and yet he can't completely take away your addiction. Its when we try to change ourselves that we fall.
