Hi Matthew, Very interesting what you say, and fair play for posting in order to help people. In my opinion though, none of these settings changes makes a great deal of difference when actually on the water. I think you've just gotta watch the motion of the boat and react to get the most out of it.
Hi Mathew I use the upper left aux switch for the soft rudder how can I assign the upper left aux switch, when deployed would throw the rudder fully to turn boat in circles, to use when standing buy between races. Thanking you in advance Harry
Hi mate, All you need to do is use another receiver (inside the yacht the same brand and type as your original) - Then in the Flysky i6 there is a 'COPY' mode ... So after you bind another receiver ( The radio has at least 10 model memory's ) - You can simply copy your favourite configuration over to the new receiver in memory and it will save it in the Transmitter. You can name them on screen so you know which model is which. I know its an old video, But I hope this helps ...Cheers and take care from Australia
Hi Mathew - to remove the center return setup on the winch (left stick), is it simply a matter of removing the springs on the internal mechanism? I have ratchet on Futaba F6j winch stick - is that possible with the Fsi6? As per Kelly Davis question below, have you installed a rechargeable battery pack?
i didn't have to remove any springs with the FSi6. since it was meant for aviation use the "throttle" stick didn't have a return spring. i've played with using nimh AA batteries and they work just fine and are rechargeable.
In most RC Sailboats you are able to install a small motor, shaft and folding prop if you want to. Some guys like having a motor in their boats, When racing we don't have installed motors for propulsion due to drag and weight, But it can be done... Hope this helps mate, Take care.

Any way to use rechargable battery packs instead of 4 AA's?
Indeed!

Boat doesn't have a motor, just sails
