- Another Procreate Dreams animation I did. Love that you can fake 3D with clever ways of scaling and distort :-) Wanted to push details in this one. So much fun to do :-D #procreatedreams #procreate

Thank you :-) Yes. Start with something simpler. Dont feel like you must make 3D looking stuff. But it is cool to know it is possible when you have gotten used to the app abit :-)

Newb questions:
How did you add the background, which part was drawn and then how did you add the creature layer behind the glass?
Thank you. All of it is drawn. And added in a way at the same time. The createure is behind a "glass" but that is just a layer in Screen mode, so you see the dirt, but it is totally transparent. The whole scene is buildt up like you would in Procreate with what is in what layer. Its just tracks in Dreams insted and they are scaled, moved and distorted.

@@Deanjsy It opens up ALOT more possibilities. Your frame by frame will be similar. But with keyframing and preforming. Clever ways to group and hirarchy, keyframe filters, animate masks. Ad audio and warp video, set any track in any blendmode and so son. Something like a cameramove in Procreate would be very hard. In Dreams it is super-easy!

Yes. Not a single layer, but one painting done on different layers so they can be animated seperatly.
I wish this had sound it’d be amazing actually! Let me know where any tutorials will be posted! As always amazing and the bit at the end made me laugh. Kinda surprised me haha 😂
Side question, I assume you did most if not all of the painting in Procreate still?
Hehe, thanks. Yes the last part is suppost to surprize abit :-D Yes, audio would elevate this so much! And I do most of my painting still in Procreate. But animation related drawing I do in Dreams
I am struggling in It with basic mograph stuff I do in AE in seconds so this just has me speechless

Thank you. All the animation was done in Procreate Dreams, but I painted the parts in Procreate.
Wow, pretty impressive! Looks just like 3d. I'm guessing you used some type of warping and keyframes along with some parallax scrolling.

Thank you. Yes, distort on floor n ceiling, scale on right wall and move on most other things.
