CLIMBING MOUNT KINABALU | DIY Kinabalu Hiking trip | Watch in 4K!

We decided that 2023 is the year that we will take on Gunung Kinabalu and we did just that last August.
Was it fun? Well, part of it. It's definitely something that will test you physically, mentally and emotionally.
So here is our experience on conquering the tallest mountain in Malaysia.

Cost breakdown of our DIY Kinabalu (no package) hike:
Accom + permit: RM578
Guide hire fee: RM87.50 (RM350/5 ppl)
Porter: RM50 (RM14/kg)
Climbing cert: RM10
Kinabalu Park entrance fee: RM10
Transportation fee to Timpohon gate: RM8.50
Total per pax: ~RM750
