I never see anyone start by changing the colors in the beginning by using a different color style in the design tab. If you do that you automatically have the right colors you nee and won't have to change it every time you need a new color. That's just easier in my opinion. But do love your work!

How did you duplicate the word into 2?
Drag it with your mouse and Ctrl key pressed at the same time.
how do you only have one page colored?
It´s not possible with background color, but you can draw a fullscreen rectangle and only have it on the first page.

i managed to make the writing, but when i go to print, the writing disappears. why is this??
The background color will normally not print. You have to go to preferences and set to print background color, than it should work.
