Gorgeous! Now I'm town between a phaius and vanda.. What to do?! Get both? Lol! Great vid Maria!
HA HA HA!!!! You already know the answer!!! INDEED GET BOTH!!! DUH!!! :) LOL!!! :)
How do you use the orchid stalk to grow the plant
Violet Huang great question...after making your cuttings you should use a sealed container or zip lock bag to contain moist sphagnum moss and cuttings. Keep in bright warm spot but no direct sunlight as it can cause it to get too hot and bake the cuttings. Monitor and check on a regular basis and make sure it the sphagnum remains moist. It may take a couple of months before seeing any growths so you will have to be patient. I will try to propagate this in the future to give a visual process of how it's done. Thanks for asking and HAPPY GROWING!
What does it smell like?
They smell very faintly of lilac...such a soothing scent. :)
I have the worst luck with that plant. I bought it twice and managed to kill it both times. I was able to save a small division.
+Richard Lewis Oh no!!! Do you keep it potted or planted in the ground?
Thanks for this informative Video. You just saved me 50 Euros (almost the same amount in Dollars). This Orchidee wouldn't fit in my Environment
I have it potted up
+Richard Lewis Awesome keep me posted on how it does! :)
