@@Yodaracing1 I’d definitely swap the downpipe to a 3” and check out the turbine wheel while it’s off to see if it is a stock turbo following the boost graph 😂
Definite improvement over what it went in with James loves a hot manifold to change and adjust actuators 😂 really is the place to go for vxrs and all other cars they grafted on my car and got it 100% in the end highly recommend them

The low down looks much better on the graph. Glad it's better for you. Inlet will help top end but might lose a bit low and mid range in torque due to the short runners to the head
Good power that m8 and holds it through the revs, not just a quick spike upto 300bhp and drops off quick like some tunes. I have 290bhp and while it's not the fastest car on the road it feels fast enough for British roads and it sounds nice too which adds to the whole experience. Let's just hope we get sum dry weather to give it a test
Always good to have you car given a once over before being mapped! Gives you confidence in the fact the car will be capable of performing, even better to iron out those little discrepancies and have them sorted, least the car feels and drives better for you and like you said it’s about drivability not how much hp you’ve got, I’ve seen some mad motors and don’t get me wrong a 500bhp corsa is mental but you ain’t going to put that kinda power down well. I’m all for crazy but I prefer not to have to peddle ma car to keep it in a straight line haha 😂
@@Yodaracing1 yeah totally know that feeling, I’ve had my vx racing corsa now for 3 years but when I first got it it was shall we say random no air filter and been mapped on standard injectors yikes 😳 so had to send it to RnD to help me sort it and get it right. It’s a lot better now but still has surges when your setting off sometimes it’s like kit from knight rider haha. But going to forge it and send it to 350-380 that’s what I’d like
Please for you mate that’s healthy. Had my Sri turbo mapped the other week she made 256. Actuator spring is to hard though so it’s laggy. I bought a forge actuator to go on which is being fitted in March. Hopefully sort the lag out. Enjoy your content mate
A stiff actuator won’t make a turbo laggier, it will just make it over boost. I would recommend swapping the Forge actuator for a Turbosmart one as Craig has mentioned above, as Forge actuators can be very hit and miss. Make sure the spring stiffness is the exact same as the one on the car currently, and get the boost logged immediately after fitting to check the boost levels are healthy. I would recommend getting the actuator fitted and set up followed by a map tweak with your chosen tuner to make sure everything is how it should be 👍
Enjoyed the video mate🤟 currently got a Corsa vxr which is standard, thinking of getting a astra H vxr next. How do you find the petrol consumption compared to the Corsa?
@@Yodaracing1 it still dropped off a bit but that's just the nature of the k04 but when the springs were in it held over 300hp till the limiter and just get singles, doubles are a waste of time rich said for this stage of tune, mine was paired with a 10psi spring in the turbosmart too

The graph didn't look that smooth, seems like you've got some hidden issues with the car. Hopefully you can figure it out, because I'm sure it should be a lot more smoother as well make more power.

Turbosmart is more reliable mate imo

Mine made around this power stage 3, put eds inlet on it with valve springs and made 327hp with rich
