Hey man that looks so intense! What are the specs of your 236 and gearing?(if I can ask) I have a Birel Racing kart that I just zip around my neighborhood with a very light modified Tilly 212 but I need more lol

Interesting so you went with a relatively low/medium lift cam and 1.1 rockers. Is the reason because higher lift may result in a loss of bottom end torque? I heard higher lift is for top end speed and you’re running on oval track and not 1/4 mile stuff like those cats in Compton. Those champion rockers holding up ok with those heavy 55# springs ok?

It’s a short rod engine so I don’t wanna turn a lot of rpm and the 308 is a good mid range cam I had laying around honestly and I went with 1.1 rocker for less stress on valve train cause I’m running it hard for 10min or more some times rather than 30 seconds and yes I’d rather tq over hp on a kart engine where there’s weight restriction sometimes
