Things are not going well for the Saudis right now. Their proxy forces are losing ground in Syria, Iran is gaining more influence in Iraq, the Yemen war is a stalemate, the Qatar diplomatic crisis is still unsolved, they are losing influence in Lebanon, Internal power struggles that could cause instability and the petro-yuan is challenging the status-quo on the oil market.
If I could correct you on one note, I'd say Iran's influence in Iraq is not growing. In fact, it may be declining. A couple years ago, Iran was being looked at as some sort of guardian angel of Iraq's Shia majority thanks to the isolation policy of the previous prime minister. But that view has been getting less and less popular ever since Abadi took office. For most of Iraqis, Iran is still looked at as great ally in the war against ISIS no less, but the public opinion seem to favor neutrality nowadays considering the fact the Iraq just re-opened relations with Saudi Arabia after three decades. Iraqi nationalism is above all, it seems with the way things are going.
The funny thing is, so long as Syria and Yemen remain war-torn shitholes, from the Saudis' perspective, this is fine. From the Saudis' perspective, the complete collapse of civilization in areas the Iranians are interested in is still better than Iran succeeding in turning those into profitable fronts. As for the petro-yuan, call me when the Chinese make their currency fully convertible. Then they might be onto something. Until them, the only thing really challenging the status quo in the oil market is the fact that American shale can weather (and has weathered) a deliberate Saudi oil price crash, divorcing the United States from its interests in keeping Iran and Saudi Arabia from ripping eachothers' throats out.

As a Muslim it's sad that these nations are fighting and even using religion just to make their pocket even deeper. Their greed and violence caused a lot of distrust and paranoia, making the Muslim from South East Asia felt threatened and isolated. They even caused violent islamism to pop out in the peace side of Islam believers. Mixing politics and religion is very bad especially religion like Islam which is a religion that at it's core doesn't have hierarchy. I can only hope that these nations can resolve this matter peacefully by themselves or with the help of some peaceful western powers.
Yes, it was built by a Mughal Emperor, a Muslim dynasty. Any cultured nation would value it despite its origin, so don't think the Indians plan on dynamiting it like the Buddhas of Bamiyan.

Yeee
rest in piece
Man these videos are so good. Keep it up.
i will miss this legend greatly
Ya know after what happened today i remembered this video. Ohh shit i fear for the future.
I think I might've preferred it as one video.
I'm so sad for you, I hope you can emotionally recover
Waddle Derp i prerere 2 Videos. Whenever a Video is longer then 20 minutes I'm hesitating of Watching it. 10 minutes is fine though.
M8's gotta make his cash
A 15-20 minute video would take a long time to animate. 2 videos take less time as they can be uploaded at different times.
But he uploaded both of them at the same time anyway...
im fron iran! thanks for making a video about us!
ps.
rip, brain4breakfast
He shall forever be remembered
Rest in peace man. Great video 👍
You admire Peter Zeihan very much do you?
I thought he was Zeihan himself.
Juan Miguel Delgado if he was Zeihan at the end promotion he would say _the absent superpower by me_
You're right. I googled Zeihan and a familiar face appeared. I saw a couple of his conferences here on RUclips: he was extremely smart and definitely not British.

I can only hope that these nations can resolve this matter peacefully by themselves or with the help of some peaceful western powers.
rest in peace comrade, you will be remembered. You are now into space with the great poland ball
You will be dearly missed
The Tag Mahal is an Islam building?
Yes the Taj Mahal was a building constructed by the islamic Mughal Empire
Yes, it was built by a Mughal Emperor, a Muslim dynasty. Any cultured nation would value it despite its origin, so don't think the Indians plan on dynamiting it like the Buddhas of Bamiyan.
Jr B it is also for the burial of the king wife named Taj Mahal who died after giving birth
Nasaq Licos other then the fact it is in India nothing else about is Indian. It was built by a Turko-mongol empire and designed by Persians in a Persian style. Look at Indian style buildings before or outside the Turkic/persianate empires and they are totally different
No, the (guten) Tag Mahal is a WWI-era German builiding that was created as a trap for French troops that were pushing in towards the end of the war.
They also had...ALLLLLAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
I wonder how the almost inevitable rise of renewable energy will affect the Saudi/Iran hold on the oil monopoly? As the world slowly realises that "Hang on, it might not be worth buying oil when I can just put up a fancy mirror thing." I wonder how the two oil kings will react?
Drew Armstrong, The Glorious Lobster Emperor I doubt that renewable energy will ever replace fossil fuels completely.
if they do. then Arabia will collapse and Iran will go bankrupt. but Iran can come back since they have a bigger industrial complex and geography better suited to ... well everything
Amazing video series, please make more!
I don't care about any inaccuracy of what you're saying and I'm not even gonna try to verify. I'm here because I just love the use of country balls! Keep it up!
Suddenly seemed very relevant.
Yeah he is with me right now. He is ... really cool

Eu4 does that shit to you......
Miss you man.
What's the sauce for your pfp
Rest in peace buddy.
One of the best channels
The UK and The US always show up in a brain4breakfast video in some way lol
Cause the US is the best country.
No one can leave it out
It's really stunning when you realize how much the two of them have written the rules so they can indirectly run the show while pretending to be completely incompetent.
@@Longlius They can be competent in some areas while have things blow up in their face in others. The US maintains the current world order rather smoothly...at least until Trump arrived. But that didn't mean that public policy was satisfactory to the average American. xD
Hey Brain4Breakfest
Why so you have Switzerland in your Profile Background? Bisch du au n Schwiizer? :D
DSA rgus he sounds British to me. Sounds like someone from northern England
I think he sounds scandinavian. danish or swedish most likely.
Presario3440 I speak Swedish but to me he does not sound like a Scandinavian. He sounds like a guy from north Britain.
He's Scottish
He sounds German to me.
One mistake in video is Kurds
They are part of iranian family like mazanis, persian and all...
He can't really fix that because we'll... He's Dead.
@@maybexsuma2005 what?dead?😶
@@Amirali-uq4vp he passed away
@@maybexsuma2005 I didn't know
God bless him
I love you're content
This is Suddenly very relevant again
2:51 finally! Someone actually knows the two differences i got tired of authoritarian right wingers thinking all muslims are bad even though all i do is be a working class american. (Note: no im not a left winger)
I apologize for our American ignorance.
Religion is used in every country to determine the laws which most people don't understand.
Ahmed in any religious (or ex - religious) country. The whole of middle east for example.
The right wingers on the internet are just as loud as their left counterparts on the msm
NC Aråb and the left wing doesn't care so long as they can use your minority status to prop up their ideologies
