Another HD tip: it’s not a discounted item unless the original price is also shown on the tag. Just because it’s printed on yellow paper doesn’t mean it’s marked down. Clearance items will end with $.06 or $.03. This indicates how many more weeks it will be in the store. After that it goes back to the vendor or onto the dumpster. If you see a clearance item with $.06 you can wait and possibly get a bigger discount when it’s 3 weeks out but you take a chance on the item not being there any longer. As for damaged packaging the vendor replaces item that are damaged or unsalable so the store has no incentive to discount the item except for customer relations.

California has passed a law banning gas powered equipment and they are usually the first to do stupid things. With some of the battery tech that's out and what's next, more and more people will switch to battery operated tools. They'll even make pressure washers that can get up to 400 psi eventually. As for right now, yes you have to use gas
They do come with warranty but you are asking someone to risk thier job if you ask for a discount on a yellow tag. Dont be that guy just because you are cheap.

It took me about 20 minutes to get a supervisor at Home Depot to approve the additional $50 off the trimmer and $25 off the pressure washer
