I played this game for like over 5000 hrs over the past 5 years and now I really want to replay the game just to hear the ambience. But I can't put the game in background while just listening to the music when I'm working.. But now I'll keep coming back here to these kinds of video instead of booting up the game. Thanks!
I'm sorry but how did you play Shogun 2 for 5000 hours? Are we talking just the base game or FOTS and ROTS? Also are you a content creator for Shogun 2 or something?
I hate how the total war series tend to not release *every* track they compose. The flute around 1:28 and onwards are not part of the OST. Same goes for some tracks for Rome 2. Lovely flutes and stuff, but not released in their OST either. Oh well, at least I found this vid that *finally* has that calm flute I loved listening to when I used to play this game 😌
Ditto. I'd always wondered why they didn't! Actually this track is one of the first I ever did years ago before I started putting them on YT. I had this on in the background while reading very often.
9/10 It misses the units that say something you'll never understand because you don't speak japanese and are too lazy to google the translation Just kidding, sound great. This isn't a shamefur dispray
A lot of the time they say '殿' Tono at the start which is an old word meaning 'lord'. They then tend to say the unit name + gozaimsu. 槍足軽にございます - Yari ashigaru ni gozaimasu - Gozaimasu is a very formal and slightly archaic way of saying 'to exist/to be' so the unit is saying 'Yari ashigaru are here/at the ready'. units sometimes say ご命令を待ち申し上げます - Go-meirei wo machi-moshi-agemasu You could translate this probably along the lines of 'I humbly await for to carry out your orders' - something along the lines of this. When units run they sometimes say 直ちに!- tadachini - which means 'right away!' but is a formal word. The video I linked shows some more voicelines and their translations. ruclips.net/video/3pth9HmDMnw/видео.html The Japanese in Shogun 2 is broadly correct, with 1 or 2 slight quirks but it's for the whole part pretty authentic for the time period from what I can tell. Very cool.
@@DarkoWolfo No worries! If you want a more detailed explanation/any questions please ask. I love explaining Japanese grammar. (Not that I am an ultimate authority, I have just studied it for around 3 years.)
Ah..yes. Shogun total war, try this game 1st time after I barely understand napoleon total war mechanics..... In the end my matchlock ashigaru army were devastated by samurai and cavalry. Good times....
Oh, to be young again
CPU toasting my leg in the summer
Quashing other clans for glory
-Some yari ashigaru, I guess
beautiful poem
Nietzsche convinced me that every good day should start with a session of stretches and soft exercises accompanied by this music
Wise words, I think!

"OSUSUME"???
