      @dimensional X that's long time ago rejected as a theory. Todays bulgarians are from roman-balkan-germanic and shcytian origin and it is clearly seen in DNA results.

      It is not pure bulgarian. I am also from near Varna and my DNA is completely different. 100% European, no Turkish, but also no north-west European.

      @@iliyaniliev91 ползвайте DHL, при тях няма проблем, щом пробата не е кръв, а и те са наясно с тези тестове, също по-скъпо е, но за сметка на това и пробите ще стигнат по-бързо до лабораторията.

    Mainly Paleobalkan/ early Slavic, Greek and Franco-German. Maybe some ancestors from Romania? German DNA is not very common in Bulgaria.

      On the contrary, German roots are very common for Bulgarians because of all the alies of the bulgarians with goths, lombards, and Frank's in the past. That happened in Panonia more than 1300 years ago.. more over in the late Middle Ages, there are a lot of Saxon settlements in West Bulgaria. Parts of South Bulgaria were also part of Latin Empire..

      It’s not strange, many Bulgarians have some North Western European DNA.

      @@dejantodorovski5222 most likely it's some Celtic DNA that is usually attributed by DNA tests to Central/Western Europe, but Celts also used to live in areas as far as Central-Western Anatolia. Possibly that ancestor is also responsible for the West Asian (in this case, pre-Turkic Anatolian).

    I'm from the western part of Bulgaria and I have mainly Balkan dna, lots of Greek and a bit Eastern European and Italian. 0% Asian!

      Нищо не излезе от проучването ми... бабите и дядовците са също от България. Не знам, вероятно е нещо далечно, по-назад в родствената линия :D

      @@kukundrela Може би е така. До колкото разбрах има много стари гени, които трудно избледняват. Аз знам за до 7 поколения преди мен и моите са си българи, макар според разни теории при първите за които имам сведения да трябва да има ашкенази евреи.

      Моят резултат ползва предимно балканско ДНК с източноевропейски, гръцки и италиански примеси. Радвам се, че нямам и следа от азиатско присъствие във вените си 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.

      Clear... but I don't have such ancestry. Unless it's very very way back. I have green eyes though, which is usually a sign of Celtic heritage. Even way removed.

      @@kukundrela yes it is happend very long time ago, may be some 1500 ago, when bulgarians used to lived in Panonia todays Hungary ;) It's very common for all Bulgarians. My results are very similar to yоurs :)

      @kukundrela upload your result in site mytrueancestry (serach in google because i can't post the link here). You'll see all your ancient relatives (marked with yellow dots on the maps) and more accurate origin detiles. You'll be surprised more than now :)
      In common, bulgarians are with Scythian (bulgars were scythian-sarmatian tribes not turkic as we were taught in school), Roman, Gaul, and German origin, as Roman roots include this Italian-Greek, probably Thracian part.

    Actually north West European it's a confused part of your thracian DNA(scored as Balkan), then Thracian for the 72,3% because My heritage Has low databese that confuses some gene with others! KEEP MY CORRECTION IN MIND, MY DEAR GRECO-THRACIAN COUSIN! 🇬🇷❤🧬🇧🇬
    West asian can be your iranic side from Scythian presence in ancient Thrace.

      @Ανδρέας Sicilian Χριστόφολους not sure about that; there are some speculations in my lineage that I actually had German relatives.
      Update: actually I asked and no, this is a myth. I don't have German relatives, at least nobody we know of from 3 generations back. So it is highly unlikely.

      Wrong. 38% Proto Indo European. 34% Celtic or Germanic tribes, 23% Greek and Latin, rest pre-Turkic Anatolian.
      Turkic peoples are shown as Central Asian in these tests, since the haplogroups by which these results are compiled are the ancient ones. At that time, Turks were nowhere near Anatolia or Europe.
