On the contrary, German roots are very common for Bulgarians because of all the alies of the bulgarians with goths, lombards, and Frank's in the past. That happened in Panonia more than 1300 years ago.. more over in the late Middle Ages, there are a lot of Saxon settlements in West Bulgaria. Parts of South Bulgaria were also part of Latin Empire..
@@dejantodorovski5222 most likely it's some Celtic DNA that is usually attributed by DNA tests to Central/Western Europe, but Celts also used to live in areas as far as Central-Western Anatolia. Possibly that ancestor is also responsible for the West Asian (in this case, pre-Turkic Anatolian).

You'll see all your ancient relatives (marked with yellow dots on the maps) and more accurate origin detiles. You'll be surprised more than now :) In common, bulgarians are with Scythian (bulgars were scythian-sarmatian tribes not turkic as we were taught in school), Roman, Gaul, and German origin, as Roman roots include this Italian-Greek, probably Thracian part.

It is not pure bulgarian. I am also from near Varna and my DNA is completely different. 100% European, no Turkish, but also no north-west European.

I'm from the western part of Bulgaria and I have mainly Balkan dna, lots of Greek and a bit Eastern European and Italian. 0% Asian!
