    This is a good video but when you define the set of rational numbers, make sure you specify it fully. For instance, you omitted b is not equal to 0 in the set-builder notation.

      I hoped that you would also talk about the Dedekind Cuts since the title of the video is about Constructing the Reals.

      @@asht750 i think i mentioned that there are several equivalent ways of constructing R. I just prefer this method.

    Is there a recommended textbook to use along with these lectures?

      I'm not sure how easy it is to find, but i use Advanced Calculus by Leonard Richardson. Written by my professor. It is the best introductory real analysis book I've ever read
