Had to grin about the quiet drink or four in the Pavillion. Seems the soynd really carriee. I have not been on Cunatd, but I do like the large pub and the wellness area and the staterooms seem very nice.
Thanks Lindsey & Ken for another look aboard Queen Anne ,buffet breakfast sounds better than on other ships . Would be better if prom deck like on Aurora or Iona 😊
Thank You for another wonderful and informative video !! First , let me say that I’m a huge Cunard fan since I was a young boy . I’ve been fortunate to have sailed on all three of Cunard’s other Queens. I love each one and for different reasons. But the one thing that they all have in common is their WOW! Factor! Each room you enter is a major experience of Elegance and Luxury! It’s like travelling back in time to the Golden Age of ocean travel from the 1910’s thru the 1960’s ! Visions of Titanic, Mauretania, Queen Mary , Normandie, Queen Elizabeth and QE2 fill your mind and heart!! There is nothing better than a Transatlantic Crossing by Ocean Liner ! I’m sorry, but after watching this video and many others currently online, I must sadly say that the new Queen Anne has NONE of that WOW FACTOR ?!?! Some of the rooms are nice , ( Britannia Dining Room, Commodore Club , the individual cabins and pool and outdoor areas are quite lovely. But others are Bland, Unwelcoming
Thanks for your kind words about the video. So far we have only sailed on QM2 but we are booked on QV for December this year and can't wait to try another Queen. A lot of our cruising friends say that she is their favourite. I guess we all like different things from different ships and there is never a perfect ship for any of us. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
We actually had an inside cabin the company was great and the entertainment was very special. I liked the ship and would like to go back again when she settles down.
Great series! Love your early morning walks, and photo ops, Ken. What time of day are these morning jaunts, and do you come across many fellow passengers up at this time? Also, when do the hospitality staff usually start their day?
Hi Lesley it's not really that early usually around 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning it's a good time to film hopefully without getting in people's faces, however it does give a bit of a false impression of the ship. I try to avoid filming people where possible. There are usually staff around from 6 Ish in the morning probably some are earlier but I wouldn't know. This series is nearing its end now then we can start our Aurora adventure with a little extra thrown in here and there.
I think these first-person vistas into the ship are both atmospheric and informative. Without the usual flow of passengers, you get a better grasp of the layout of a ship, and it's more digestible than a full ship tour. Looking forward to learning more about Aurora😊
@@lesleywaghorn1627 Thanks Lesley we will probably do a review after the vlogs just to sum up our experience and offer our opinions after we have had time for the dust to settle and to be a bit more objective about it
I love Chris Frame’s lectures👍

She is a lovely ship and when things settle down I think she will be very popular

It's a shame about the prom deck but we had a great time onboard

Thanks for the video especially when the captain came over the loud speaker when Claire was on stage. 🚢
It was one of those priceless moments and a great reaction from Clare
At least you had a balcony, sunshine, good company and fluffy robes! Stupid not to have the prom deck. Hopefully the food has gotten better by now.

Good grief on the promenade!
It was disappointing to walk around
Good reason not to go on a maiden voyage. We usually wait at least 6 months for things to get sorted out🚢😄
Hi Warren we only did it because the original sail date was on my 60th Birthday
@@KenGoesCruising happy birthday 🎉. I wish I was 60 again😀
