I recommend doing this on a laptop Or desktop PC. It is glitchy when doing it on a smartphone! I filled out the whole application then all of the sudden it goes to a screen saying my application code is invalid! Also have a customer service number readily available. The website is not put together very well in my opinion

I would choose a hotel close to the karibo. This form is for statistics purposes so there’s no problem if they don’t have it. Just say you’re staying at the karibo if asked in customs

The Occupation section does not have all the options shown in your video. It says things like, Crew Member, Diplmat, Student, Private Employee, Public Employee, etc. There is no "Other" or anything that seems like an adequate match. Help...
To be honest, don’t worry too much about it; pick whatever is closest to reality. This information is for traveler census and you won’t have any issues 🙂

Whenever you have your flight information and confirmed your hotel booking you may proceed I believe. The system will tell you if you can’t proceed so I wouldn’t worry 🙂
Im convinced this can only be filled out 3 days before the trip. Which is understandable. Ive tried three different devices. Three different browsers. I fill out the main things and then poof, nothing happens. No Qr code. Nothing.
I have tried to confirm this with an upcoming trip I have this summer but I still don't have the flight confirmation number for my return flight. I seem to remember I was able to fill it out well before the 72 hours window for my last trip but maybe they've changed it. If in fact they've changed it, the date of your trip should be the first filter before having to fill out all the details only to find out at the end that you cannot proceed.
@@NittyGrittyTravelers okay so I did figure out what the issue was and I was able to do it more than two and a half three weeks out from my trip. The issue was that I was staying at an Airbnb and it's not very user friendly when it comes to choosing the city and the principality. Well I'm confident when city I'm going to it was backwards I had to select the principality first and then select a major city second and then it allowed me to select actual neighborhood. I always thought it was odd when it came to filling out the 3rd drop down box there was nothing there when I selected Santo Domingo as a main city

Correct, enter the flight details of the flight that is bringing you to DR. If the flight number changes on your stop in Charlotte then the flight info of the Charlotte flight goes on the e-ticket

Food products refers mostly to meats, fruits, soft cheeses, in short, anything that can bring diseases to the animal population or pests . The items you described do not count as food products to customs
Hi, Chris :) No, simply select a hotel close by or of the same hotel chain or similar name. It doesn0t really matter to be honest especially if it does not appear on the list. That information is mainly for census and statistical purposes.
Is there a limit to how soon can you fill this out? If i am on a week vacation do i fill out the enter and exit form the same day? Or do i have to do exit form after i land and clear customs?

I’ve filled it out earlier than the 72 hours. Basically, as soon as I have my flight info I fill it out. Go for it, unless the system prevents you from completing it there’s no problem 🙂

Got it! In that case you only need to fill out the e-ticket when you fly into DR (with your flight information) and put down the address or hotel name where you'll be staying after your cruise. I would put down as "days staying in DR" the amount of days from the day of entry until the day of exit via plane.
Choose a nearby hotel or maybe your hotel had a different name before? Sometimes hotels get sold to other companies and the just change names. What hotel will you be staying at? (either way it doesn't matter much... no one will verify this information against your e-ticket info).

Hi, Vikram :) Every visitor needs to fill out the e-ticket upon entering and leaving the DR. According to akbartravels.com, Indian citizens do not require a visa to enter Dominica for a short stay, if the purpose of visit is tourism, visit or business. Indians enjoy visa free travel to the country. Please confirm this info with a more official source (like the Dominican consulate in the country you reside)

Hi, Kari 🙂 we’ve heard of this happening to other travelers. Just pick a nearby city and you’re good to go. This information is basically for statistics of the DR government and will not be an issue.
Something seems to be not working properly. Try starting a new ticket and see if it works. Also, make sure you have a country selected before trying to input the city
No, just the e-ticket for both arrival and departure (different ones). You might read about a $10 tourist card online but as of a few years ago that is included in your airfare. Check to see if your nationality requires entry visa to DR (American, Canadian, Schengen territories, and most big nations do not need one)

I fly into Atlanta and then it’s a layover and then fly out to Punta Cana. All 4 flight numbers are different. Chicago to Atlanta is one flight number. Atlanta to Punta Cana is another flight number. Flight numbers are different on the return flights as well
Hi 🙂 if you’re referring to how long it takes to fill out it’s a fairly quick process if you have all your info hand (passport, flight info, etc). The more members in your party, the longer it will take you since you have to input the same info for all the passengers. If, on the other hand, you’re referring to how soon before your arrival you can fill it out… basically as soon as you have a confirmed flight and a place to stay in DR

Origin port in your case would be the Miami airport (look for the code of the airport)

Put down JFK if the flight number changes on your layover. If it's the same flight number (i.e. you don't deplane) put down DCA 🙂

If your flight number changes in Fort Lauderdale then Fort Lauderdale would be your port of embarkation and New Orleans your port of origin.

Just based on renting an apartment no, there's no ID you could get from the DR. I hope this helps 🙂

According to akbartravels.com, Indian citizens do not require a visa to enter Dominica for a short stay, if the purpose of visit is tourism, visit or business. Indians enjoy visa free travel to the country. Please confirm this info with a more official source (like the Dominican consulate in the country you reside)

No need; you can fill out one e-ticket. The form will ask for each passenger’s info.

Hi, Kari 🙂 we’ve heard of this happening to other travelers. Just pick a nearby city and you’re good to go. This information is basically for statistics of the DR government and will not be an issue.

Something seems to be not working properly. Try starting a new ticket and see if it works. Also, make sure you have a country selected before trying to input the city

The eticket is an exclusive requirement of the DR authorities so you would need to fill it out regardless of other documentation. Hope this helps 🙂

No, just the e-ticket for both arrival and departure (different ones). You might read about a $10 tourist card online but as of a few years ago that is included in your airfare. Check to see if your nationality requires entry visa to DR (American, Canadian, Schengen territories, and most big nations do not need one)

How do I fill out the Embark Port and Disembark Port if I have connecting flights? I fly out of Chicago to Atlanta and then Atlanta to Punta Cana and vice versa with the return flight?
Do you change planes in Atlanta or does the flight number stay the same (i.e. you do not change planes)
I fly into Atlanta and then it’s a layover and then fly out to Punta Cana. All 4 flight numbers are different. Chicago to Atlanta is one flight number. Atlanta to Punta Cana is another flight number. Flight numbers are different on the return flights as well

You need to put down the city and flight that ultimately brought you to Punta Cana. In this case, your point of embarkation would be Atlanta :)
How soon did you fill your e ticket
Hi 🙂 if you’re referring to how long it takes to fill out it’s a fairly quick process if you have all your info hand (passport, flight info, etc). The more members in your party, the longer it will take you since you have to input the same info for all the passengers. If, on the other hand, you’re referring to how soon before your arrival you can fill it out… basically as soon as you have a confirmed flight and a place to stay in DR
