I want to thank everyone for the comments! I don't play this game that much since they kept updating it and trouble defeating the cheese... I'm looking to make a return but until then thank you for your support with helping each other out! 💯
How about this for striker (stand up Gawdz): Option 1 (cardio strikers/late finishers) fluidity the butcher/tree chopper/attacking the base weathering the storms Opportunist marathoner Option 2 (early finishers): Fluidity heavy hands head hunter carved of wood risk reward Option 1 seems easier to use but option 2 seems more exciting.
Haven't played the game but my favorite is a BJJ fighter with: Chess master, Guard specialist, Back constrictor, Tree chopper and Fluidity. Honorable mentions: Escape artist, head hunter, Heavy hands, Work horse, Crushing presence, Carved of wood.
I've tried all the skill sets on ultimate team and I'm alright with all of them. Taekwondo Middle Weight I'm 79-40. MMA LW I'm 77-34 but I made a boxer and used stand-up perks with a ground perk and I'm 48-8. Stand up rating is 91 and my TDF is 80. Boxer has a good chin as well but legs can be beat to death. My MW fighters stand-up is 97 but I'm better with a Boxer.
Counter puncher, heavy hands, crazy legs, head hunter, chess master. Spec for 100 joint sub and def, no choke moves. Be good on the ground and you can tear your way through the earlier divisions. Starts to slow down once you start fighting people way out of your league
Okay boys and girls my lightweight fighter is a jujitsu fighter.. his stand up rating is 96. His ground is 89. clinch 79. my perk set up is fluidity lv5 marathoner lv5 game changer lv 4 tree chopper lv 4 and escape artist lv 4. I use escape artist bc it's an essential perk to escape submission spammers. if your good at throwing combos tree chopper, along with game changer is a must. Fluidity, Game changer, marathoner, tree chopper, and escape artist that's the best ballance you are going to find.
Great video. I did want to make a quick comment. I wouldn't recommend Judoka for a sub specialist. It increases the damage your opponent's body takes when they are thrown. Since submissions don't target the body, it doesn't synergize with the loadout. Force of Nature and Crushing Presence are much better choices, as gassing your opponent is crucial for the tap. Judoka is solid for G&P, but only if the pounder targets the body: Knee strikes from side control, for example. On any ground build, whether sub or G&P, Work Horse is your bread and butter perk. It's as crucial as fluidity & marathoner for strikers. I'd even go so far as to say that it's the best Perk in the game. There isn't a single fighter that I don't take it with. Strikers are dead on the ground without it.
KongNasty Yeah I agree plus ...stand up fighters the best perk setups are game changer risk reward heavy hands fluidity and the fifth should fit your fighter my Fifth perk is tai terror bc I throw two five star knees for my combos
desperate measures opportunist vengeful risk reward and wake up call with basically any other perk cause the last one is just personal preference are good for finishing the fight while your opponent is in a health event.
Yea I dig it! I don't really care for the heavy hands as much as others only because I feel like I need to get lucky to do damage with it. I can't really get one punch KOs and I don't throw out to many long combos at a time you know what I mean?
I used it once upon a time but it truly benefits people who still swing when someone's trying to KO them. I'm more calm and patient so it really was a waste of a slot for me...
No not at all.. This video was meant to inform you on the best setups before you start selling or using the wrong perks. That way you can get a general idea on what cards to look out for, especially now that item scouting is out! :)
Beat ground perks: chess master (must) crushing presence (must) workhorse (must) ground and pound, ground finisher, back constricter, guard specialist (easy sweeps) and if you have an open slot tap already is ok but it's pretty much a shit version of workhorse
Career mode honesty sucks I'm overall 70 rated and now I have to go up against 95 overall which is literally impossible as there ground, clinch, stand up game is way better than mine which makes me rage and not enjoy career mode rather play online
On my CURRENT perk list, crushing presence is there. But I just don't seem to need an edge or an advantage on the ground to truly need ground and pound and ground finisher. If I had Level 5 versions however I'd incorporate and change my play style a little.
I barely have level five perks TBH. that is half the battle tho! Most people find the best luck by either snagging them via item scout or saving up and hoping to luck out on a LV4 or higher Perk Pack! I wish there was an auction house in the game... :/
Your style really doesn't matter. It only give you minor attributes so pick any style you want. I can say MMA, Judo or Kickboxer are the BEST to start with.. What you wanna be mindful of is your movement style. Depending on which you pick your fighter will hold his guards up different and so on. Hopefully I answered your question correctly bro!
I believe Karate gives you the MOST kick attributes, but the "FIGHT STYLE" only dictates fighting stance, movement style and start points. If you want kicks like Barboza, check out "ITEM SCOUTING" and "FIGHT PACKS". :)
Question. Ok so I am normally the stand up type of guy, but just a week ago i decided i wanna get more sub and ground and pound wins, Cause i know i have good ko power. Whats the best type of perks for a Wrestler And do you reccomend using Tree chopper on some opponents to weaken their legs?
You dont even really need perks to "chop down legs". Just get like the calf kick and that inverted foot stomp and you'll see progreas in no time if you have power. As for perks? Tap Already, Back Constrictor and Crushing Presence I find works best for me which is more of a striker first subs second. :)
question .. why is my guy so slow ?!!? he's built like a lean michael jai white yet he get tired quick and I have major perks leveled.. thats why I deleted this game .. also cause cpu always gotta take you down to the ground .. why they cant just box it out smh ..
Judoka(and any other clinch perk really I'm a huge fan of dirty boxer) chess master and after those three I would go with a stand up perk (I like tree chopper it helps you close the distance and clinch faster) and a physical perk like carved of wood or something
xiibyteGAMING_ [pronounced: \twelve·byte\] I would go for workhorse reduces stamina cost for get ups, ground passes, and submissions by 10% check out my RUclips give me some advice

this is very detailed and Helpful bro! Good Job man!

A BJJ fighter with Like Glue, Crushing presence, Chess master, Back constrictor and Guard specialist is a must have. You will submit anyone.

sounds like a legit setup!
xiibyteGAMING_ [pronounced: \twelve·byte\] For a ground a pounder you'll need crushing presence.

Callme Fail That sounds more like a striker than a jiu jitsu fighter.
Thanks for the breakdown dude 👍🏻
No problem!

What attributes is good for submissions you know ?
I don't use the health event perks I have the ones for ground getting up and the stamina ones
I like the heavy hands too though
Yea I dig it! I don't really care for the heavy hands as much as others only because I feel like I need to get lucky to do damage with it. I can't really get one punch KOs and I don't throw out to many long combos at a time you know what I mean?

What are your thoughts on the vengeful perk?
I used it once upon a time but it truly benefits people who still swing when someone's trying to KO them. I'm more calm and patient so it really was a waste of a slot for me...
So if I created a fighter from the menu, and I selected my perks, and I imported that fighter onto Ultimate Team, he'd have those perks still?

Awesome vid. but was wondering what are best perks for a muay thai fighter. like for fighting in the clinch and what not, thanks.
JokerCarnage Thai Terror, Tree chopper, Head hunter, and Negative reinforcement and fluidity. Make sure you have good takedown defense.
For a fun time try carved of wood and wake up call it turns you into Matt Brown
Nice tips bro
A Freestyle wrestler with CRUSHING PRESENCE, ESCAPE ARTIST, GROUND AND POUND, LIKE GLUE and MARATHONER IS A FRUSTRATING OPPONENT!!😫😡😆😉
Ikr
thanks for the help with my perks!
No problem! :)
thanks for all the help!
No problem, thanx for watching!

I love ufc 2 videos..
What about crushing presence and ground finisher for ground and pound? They seem like must haves.

Yamitri2 You don't even need ground finisher. Ground n pound is enough or u can just frustrate the opponent and grind out decisions.
🤗YASSS! U have CREATED A MONSTER! 😈
Dope Video , I'm Definitely need to take this advice lol.
Thanx! I plan to drop more tips and tricks soon :)
Yeah I need it badly bro lol.
How can i do a Single Leg Side Control takedown? It only works in Half Guard
You have to unlock that variation, do you have it unlocked? And if so, you gotta get the right timing :)
Desperate mesures does it reduce cost of strikes?
Well done. You know what you are doing. kudos
Thank you!
interesting guide and i believe my downfall is lacking the level 5 perks. how do u get level 5 perks?
I barely have level five perks TBH. that is half the battle tho! Most people find the best luck by either snagging them via item scout or saving up and hoping to luck out on a LV4 or higher Perk Pack! I wish there was an auction house in the game... :/
Sorry for bugging you but if i use the mma class setup what style fighter should i use ??

It's quite easy to keep it standing in UFC 2 against CPU. Not sure about UFC 3. :)
How do I get more perks
fight packs and item scouting for sure!
Is 6ft3 tall in ufc2
best Judo perks?
Cameron Canady Judoka, Like Glue, Ground and pound, Chess master and either weathering storms or untouchable (for entering the clinch).
Judoka(and any other clinch perk really I'm a huge fan of dirty boxer) chess master and after those three I would go with a stand up perk (I like tree chopper it helps you close the distance and clinch faster) and a physical perk like carved of wood or something
