Unlike Cain who's always happy go lucky and up for laugh. At least doesn't use siblings affairs as his excuse to kick off.

Love how Martin stayed quiet mostly here and hid behind Stacey, if that was someone like Kush instead of Jack Martin would have been threatening/attacking him as soon as he walked through the door

@@abdurahim1110 Battle of the titans. Cain has the best right hand in soapland and would definitely do some damage to Grant but Grant would outclass Cain in every other regard.

Martin was telling Lily what to do and was bossing her around until Jack came round and he went so quiet until Jack asked him to speak.
Martin has always been a coward like that, always losing his temper and attacking nice guys/weaker guys than him yet always stays quiet when it’s someone like jack or Phil, in fact this reminded me of when he walked in on Grant and Belinda and started muttering to the women to get him out 😂

i think martin would normally throw his weight around and try it with anyone on the square but phil or jack (unless drunk/pushed to the limit)
Also it seemed like too me that Martin was always scared of Mick Carter for some reason as well lol, just like he definitely is with Phil, since Phil dropped him a good few years back now, and you can kind of tell that he's wary of Jack, because the way he definitely acts when he's around him.

Has Jack ever had anger management or anything? The guy is never happy and constantly raging in like every scene he's in. His character has been pointless for ages now...
It's funny how Martin barley says a word here until Jack actually speaks to him I do like Martin but it's obvious that the writers have him act as tough around hard characters like Jack if this was Max then Martin would have no problem in having his say here
Think it has more to do with the fact that Jack is a copper. Not saying he wouldn’t demolish Martin or anyone else in the square in seconds but his time in the force have made people intimidated by him since he could just arrest them for assault if he wanted to.

@@H.K.5 I think that's a cop out (pardon the pun LOL). When he's kicking off at the likes of Kush constantly he's acting like he can't control his temper but he manages just fine here. I bet if it was Kush's son or someone like that then he'd have stormed round to their house kicking off as soon as he found out his kid had knocked up his 12yo daughter.

Been on his holidays for about 3 years. I can't believe after the gangster stuff with the Mitchell's he just reverted back to the fruit and veg selling, leopard print fannypack wearing wuss he was before he got involved with them. What a waste of a character!

Jack gets so easily angry
I think Sam should take Ricky Jr to Germany with her and Ricky Sr if he doesn't want to be involved with the baby. Jack and Jr when he is old enough can pay child support if Lily decides to keep the baby.
Lily and Ricky Jr both made the choice to have sex and made the baby. If Lily gets a choice of if she wants to keep it or not- why doesn't Ricky JR? just because Lily makes a descision? Her body her choice- but Ricky should get a choice too if he wants to stay or walk away. Lily's choice should she choose to keep it shouldn't deny Ricky Jr of that same choice. he should be able to Pay child support but have no involvement. Sam take him to Germany

What I don't like about this story line is that the fact Stacey and Martin are letting a CHILD decide what to do with her body. She is under the age of 16 and therefore the parents responsibility... if Lily was my daughter I would make her get an abortion then report the lad who did it to the police.

@@bubblezzxxd15 a child is a child and is not legally capable of making their own decisions until they are 18 until that age all responsibilities lie with the parent. Just like a child under the age of 16 can not legally consent to having sex. Rules are there for a reason x

Soaps need to back down to 3 days a week. These deadlines are excessive and that's why the quality has declined since the 90s, we get shows copying each other's ideas, characters going around in circles and episodes that are a chore to sit through.
