Bro thank you so much... This literally changed my life from a point of being lost to confidence. You answered all my questions. Thank you for listening to our requests.
Thanks all who tuned into the premiere! Wanted to answer a final question someone had on warmups: Question = warmup can consist of just...lighter lifts yea? Answer: yes, take as many warmup reps as you need (ideally decreasing # of reps as you increase weight) so long as you don't exceed 5ish reps in a warmup set. The idea is to get used to wielding the heavy weight without fatiguing yourself.
I'd agree with ur tier list on most. One thing I'd say that is important tho is train it from all angles (which means elbows behind the body like an incline dumbbell curl, elbows next to the body like a standard dumbbell curl and elbows in front of the body like a preacher curl). But great vid thx for the advices
What abt standard cable curls using a straight bar instead of the rope? Because i never had wrist pain in any bicep exercise until i started doing that cable curl? Also What do you think about spider curls, zottman curls, and bodyweight exercises like chinups and pullups? Great video regardless man keep up the work!
have you ever experienced any kind of shoulder discomfort from bayesian curls? that's one of the drawbacks i've heard (anecdotally of course) that bayesians put your shoulder in a bit of an awkward position pulling on your arm backwards, i'm not personally up in enough weight to actually really feel that if that's the case but i'd assume a simple solution would just be angling your torso 45 degrees so the tension on your shoulder would be pulling from the side as opposed to from behind
How to fix bicep imbalance? My right hand is 1-2 rep short than the left one and even though I'm giving it extra set with lighter weight, it's still weaker than my left hand 😕.
always do bicep exercises unilaterally and start with your right hand. Go to failure every set. When you do the set with your left hand. do only the amount you did with the right hand and no more. repeat and your imbalance will shrink until one day you right will get more reps with your right than you can do with your left XD
I've been experiencing significant pain in my brachioradialis muscle in my dominant hand...any recommendations to ease the pain,, instead of relying on anti inflammatory meds.
I've been exercising for 20 days, consuming complete protein and calories, but I'm not seeing any muscle gain. My strength is increasing, though. I work out 5 days a week, with 3 days of exercise Rest for 1 day and 2 days of exercise and rest . What should I focus on?"😢 tyler❤
EZ-bar go up 10 lbs, dumbbells go up 5 lbs so dumbbells have better progressive overload. As for swinging just don't swing. Hammer Curls = brachialis Why isn't arms behind the body lengthened? AKA Pelican Curls
1) plate loadeed EZ bar = 5lb increments which 2.5lbs per limb. Hence barbell having smaller increments than dumbbells. 2) Some exercises are less stable and easier to swing, hence a lower rating. 3) Hammer curls are actually likely more brachioradialis. Internal moment arm study on hammer curls show that out of the 3 elbow flexors, brachialis ended up having the shortest internal moment arm -- even behind biceps brachii.
@@tyler-path 1) My bad I didn't realize it was plate loaded thinking of my gym's that are loaded. 2) I agree easier but you can avoid it easily, but I agree with the lower rating. 3) Aren't they also brachilias? Which pops the biceps peak. Thats why I always thought of it as a biceps exercise.

Thank you. Period.
I usually do some 5-7 min dynamic warmup for upper body or lower body. Then start off light weight and increase gradually

Great video on biceps definitely going remember these on next arm day. It’s not a Tuesday with out a great video from you Tyler.
Great advice, thank you Tyler
Another banger Tyler! I’m going to swap my incline DB curls with the rope cable curl. I’ve been doing unilateral preacher curls already 💪🏼
Do you take gear? If not why your chest so spotty?
Generally signs of too much or dirty gear
Love your vids Tyler!

I have not, but I'd recommend trying the movement unilaterally and see if it fixes the issue so you can pivot your body towards the working arm a bit
We love biceps!
In theory the bayesian/pelican curl could be the best. But so far only the preacher curl has evidence to back ik up.
How about concentration dumbbell curls? Could you use that in place of preacher curls?
If hammer curls are out of option, what should i do instead since im stupid
I do both on the arm day, or that´s too much volume? 3 preacher and 3 bayesian curls

Give the weak arm a extra set. But use same weight for both arms
Laying dumbbell curls are S

Hello Tyler 🤗❤
you should hire a professional editor and do some voice overs for the video.
Motion graphics.
Agreed
If you go to the gym 4x a week, just pick four and do one each day.

Being patient
Dude youre fucking peeled! How df do u stay shredded all year
Bayesian cable curl, chin ups.
anyone have any good rear delt exercises for dumbbells only?
Made a long form video on this.
Rear delt flies
if i only have one cable available can i do those bayesian curls unilaterally?
bayesian curls are usually a unilateral movement anyway yeah
of course
