Yo this dude is the king
He's going to make a lot of money in the league.
Welcome to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg! Going for a 3 peat baby!
Damn and we didn't even use a draft pic on him
Makes it look easy
I like Tom Hackett I hope vikings draft him! skol vikings
1OO years worth of kickers and receivers in the AFL.
i think we can attribute it to aussies also learning to kick low for distance if needed.
He buys his guys 2-3 seconds just by running a bit before kicking. It shouldn't be a surprise that this is effective.
Firstly why do some people think they have the wright to swear in an open forum, they must be missing something up stairs OR they feel that none will pay attention.. sick.
I hope he goes to a team like Seattle a good chance of flag
At 1:14 ....What the serious fuck? Why in the fuck would you field that? LOL
Go UTES
The Jets waived Tom
it may be a AFL drop punt but the technique being employed is the same as they use in rugby league.Find the ground...dont let the receiver catch it and don't let it go over the endzone line.rugby league principles.
Jk should’ve got it
nah but honestly isn't it crazy that two of the best punters in college football history were up for the award that year?
I'm a Bama fan and I will have to say Tom Hackett was the better punter. I don't see how a two time Ray Guy award winner doesn't have a job in the NFL. I guess NFL teams like traditional punting but rugby punting is more effective and definitely help out the defense as far as field position!
He is the only one out of those three on an NFL team
Michael Dickson latest Australian rookie 4 Seattle Seahawks having a great rookie year but I think Hackett was better I expect American kickers to start learning that rugby-style punt back in the sixties early seventies Europeans came over and we're winning jobs on many teams with that soccer-style extra point or field goal kick the American Youngster's started using it and in a few years or so they were kicking that way and now that is the only way that it is done the same thing will happen with the rugby kick soon enough American kids will take it over like we did with the soccer style kick so all you aussie players keep your passports handy you will need it to fly home but i think a lot of you guys will stay as trainers or start kicking programs of your own passing on your skills and making a nice buck
The rugby kick in no way will ever compare to a turnover ball in distance or hang time.
DownUnder Punting
Rugby style punt my arse, 99% of them can't kick to save their life. Aussie Rules football style please.😁
jk scott is better. sorry.
+Wendy Landesy yo not really.. sorry
+Wendy Landes well jk scott must be pretty good then...
Does it matter? Hackett is good enough to stand on his own.
they are two different punters. JK is a prototype, Tom is just a guy who won't be denied.
