You cannot fault Odongo Agwata's artistry and mastery of language ..a wordsmith in his calling indeed our Shakespeare, Wordsworth Keates et all..... possibly the best music composer in the Luo language of any generation...his lyrics should provide an apt study material in Dholuo Language: grammar, prose and poetry!!!...l believe that in due course of time with our people's interest in matters academic research and education his works might one day be the subject of post graduate studies!!
4:28 There's a comment on this song by jamigori on odongo agwata that is not factual. It's true Agwata was questioned by security after his song wich e dhano.(Banjo 7.side A. He didn't last long there and formed omega kings .Then in 1987 he teamed up with ochieng nelly ndugu rabbi oriro and odham wembe all who has left colly and vb to form oula kings. This band lasted only for one year and collapsed. Agwata achayo wembe and rabbi rejoined colly in vb others went to their way. Agwata released the songs jey to ere and dhok tung dhano on banjo 16. Anybody can check those facts.as i said he was a distance relative and his cousin was my class mate. Hope now it's clear 4:28

That's cool, Jamigori. Let's exchange notes if you change your mind. I am planning to head to Sori to meet Odham Wembe Wuod Alego. Then I will keep you and this group posted.
