That's dream digging! Never find anything close here in New England!
🥳We loved every second of this! Here's to that EPIC first summer with a pool! 🌊🇺🇸
Thanks for the video!!!
Superb done
Great video was satisfying to watch 🤙
Nice to see *rigid PVC pipe* installed. Too many pool contractors use that “flexible PVC” _spa hose_ underground!
Yeah, that wouldn't have made me happy.
I have installed semi-rigid pvc pipes (gray astralpool diameter 50).
I can backfill or risk crushing.
Height 1.50m
What are those white strips around the base of the pool before sitting it in the hole? I’ve seen other pools pre-install, that didn’t have those?
What type of gravel was used for leveling and backfill?
We are going into week 12 and ours still isn’t done 😭 so over this process! Hoping it will be completed in about 2 more weeks…
What color is your pool? We're getting Caribbean Sparkle in a few weeks. Hopefully it's as beautiful as yours!
This is the Caribbean Sparkle. Good luck with your new pool!
Great job. What was the model pool (and dimensions) that was installed? What was the approximate final price?
Thanks! It's the D32 from River pools. It's 16 by 32 feet, with a 4 foot tanning ledge. After landscaping and a pool shed, we spent right around 120k.
how much cost something like that
Hello, I have pool similar to yours but I'm planning to pour concrete around because now is just dirt and grass but I wonder if I need to put coping first and then the rest of the concrete. I notice that your concrete is one piece how it works for you? Definitely the kids have fun with the mud hehehe
Thank you in advance.
We had plastic forms attached directly to the pool lip. When the concrete was set, the forms simply snapped off.
@@pkhulk That's a clean look without the coping. Did that save you money?
@@vickipackham7357 it didn’t make a lot of difference. But we didn’t want a lip all around the pool.
@@pkhulk what plastic forms are they, we are in NZ not sure if we have an equivalent product here
I gotta be honest, ive seen a few videos of river pools pools, and they just dont look like well made shells, viking pools however? They make a damn good fiberglass shell, their stuff will last longer then a gunite pool
Why do you left the green tube next to the pool ??
some people are really lucky, the garden of the house is big enough to play a football game :) on the other hand, we live in prison in stone buildings.
What’s the Final price for this project , thinking about doing the same thing would love some real world end of the job numbers if possible thanks
Between landscaping, a pool shed, accessories and the pool itself, we spent around $130k.
@@pkhulk phew $130K man pools are expensive, I live in Jackson TN, we’re getting an 18x40 rectangle pool with a pool deck put in by a company in Memphis, to save money, we bought a kit, that included all necessary components, luckily we don’t need a pool shed or landscaping done, but with the pool and labor it’ll only be about $40K other places we’ve had estimates done they were talking $60K $80K and even $100K we searched and searched for ways to make it cheaper and finally found one, we’re getting ours soon!
@@tropicalsbigdaddyr53577 DIY can definitely bring down the price. But we were worried that if we encountered any problems (bedrock, sand, etc.) the cost could balloon really fast. I hope everything works out with your project. Good luck!
@@pkhulk we actually got our kit very fast, we expected a little bit of a wait, but nope, it was delivered about 4 days ago, and we have the hole dug and the kit installed, we’re just waiting on plumbing, electrical, and concrete atm, that way we can get started on everything else
@@tropicalsbigdaddyr53577 I live just south of Memphis. What company did you use for the install? Did you use a kit from a company like Royal Pools?
Homeowner be digging for goulash
Can you tell me the size of the entire property? Are you on an acre of land?
It's 1.8 acres
Hello, what is the square footage of this concrete patio?? I would gladly appreciate it.
It’s 5 feet on each side, except the fire pit side, which is 8 feet.
Very Nice! Approx. cost?
With landscaping, and pool shed, it was about $120,000
@@pkhulk ...thanks!
Is river pools in the uk?
Sorry, no. It's in Tennessee.
Hi Kevin,
I would like to know in which regions you live and if you had problems with your fiber pool.
I hesitate to put concrete under the shell. I live in Quebec and with the winters we have, freezing and thawing, I'm afraid it will break the pool.
Have you had any problems so far?
Da kann man ruhig mal klatschen!
The concrete around is a no go.
Why
Freeze, thaw or if ground around becomes saturated concrete can crack and cause shell upheaval. Stone is best bet.
This music is horrible…
That is such a cheap looking pool I would rather not have a pool than that junk these people must be cheap such a big yard but yet a pool so plane Jane
Must just be a difference in taste. I find it beautiful in it's simplicity. It also seems that different parts of the country have different design esthetics. I personally don't like the more gaudy pools.
