River Pools Build Start to Finish

See every step of our D32 fiberglass pool build. This is a 32 by 15-foot fiberglass pool installed by River Pools Nashville. See every step of the process for yourself. If you're thinking of getting a pool, see what to expect out of the process. #riverpools #fiberglasspools #ingroundpool #pooltime #poolparty #pooldesign #swimmingpool #swimmingpoolathome #homepool
That's dream digging! Never find anything close here in New England!
Why do you left the green tube next to the pool ??
I gotta be honest, ive seen a few videos of river pools pools, and they just dont look like well made shells, viking pools however? They make a damn good fiberglass shell, their stuff will last longer then a gunite pool
wow really cool
This music is horrible…
We are going into week 12 and ours still isn’t done 😭 so over this process! Hoping it will be completed in about 2 more weeks…
its crap video like all the rest of them u play ur crap music .. iif u cannot explain or talk the way thro it just do not bother ... its rubbish
Complete hack job. River Pools didn't do a proper land assessment up front and it cost the homeowners thousands in un-necessary repairs. Anyone can dig a hole in the middle of a yard, but what's the point of using a transit if your not going to use it right? There's a lot more to setting a pool than just making it level. Obviously, the land around the pool has to be factored in, and it wasn't. I'm glad I watched both parts of this video. I know to never use River Pools to do an install.
What type of gravel was used for leveling and backfill?
What are those white strips around the base of the pool before sitting it in the hole? I’ve seen other pools pre-install, that didn’t have those?
Great video was satisfying to watch 🤙
My wife and I are looking into getting this same pool. I have contacted River Pools through their site and email. They checking to see if there are any River Pool dealers in my area. If not, I’ll have to go with a Pool from Latham. Does the tanning ledge make the pool seem smaller? Our daughter is having her first child sometime in August or early September (our first grandchild) and we can hardly wait to play with him maybe next summer on the tanning ledge. I just don’t want the tanning ledge to ruin the other friends and family members that want to play in the pool. Does there seem to be plenty of room in the deeper area of the pool for maybe 4 adults? Also, I may have the same problem that you have. Our yard has absolutely no run off. Water will just settle in 3 large areas of the yard. I’m going to ask them if they can build up the area where the pool will be.
I was not for the tanning ledge at first. But as with most things, my wife was right. There’s plenty of room still, and our 3 year old grandson loves it. It also tends to be the place people sit and soak when we have a pool party.
Also, I wouldn’t leave drainage up to the pool people. It’s not their speciality. We hired a second company to survey the contours, and design the ideal solution.
Homeowner be digging for goulash
Thanks for the video!!!
Hi Kevin, I would like to know in which regions you live and if you had problems with your fiber pool. I hesitate to put concrete under the shell. I live in Quebec and with the winters we have, freezing and thawing, I'm afraid it will break the pool. Have you had any problems so far?
What color is the pool?
It's called Caribbean Blue
Can you tell me the size of the entire property? Are you on an acre of land?
It's 1.8 acres
Another question. I see you have lighting in your garden bed. At what point did you run that electricity? or is it solar?
The garden and shed lighting is all solar.
Hi Kevin, That was so fun for me to watch. I'm getting the same pool in the same color and size. My dig is on Friday in Utah. I can't believe how many people you fit in there. I do have a couple questions. What size is your umbrella? Does volleyball work out OK with the depth of the pool? Do you just have the taller people in the deeper end? I'm glad you were able to figure out your drainage issue, and your landscaping turned out very nice. I have a slight (about 1 foot) elevation change from the house to the back fence, draining away from the house. The project manager said that we will use up a lot of the soil from the hole leveling out the lot. So many things to think about. Which auto vacuum did you decide on and how is it working? Does it clean the walls, stairs and tanning ledge or not?
Our umbrella is 10 feet wide. we do play volleyball, with the tall people in the deep end. We have the Dolphin robotic cleaner. It does a good job on the bottom, stairs, and walls. The tanning ledge is a little too shallow for it though. We used solar for all the garden lighting, as well as the pool shed.
Is river pools in the uk?
Sorry, no. It's in Tennessee.
That is such a cheap looking pool I would rather not have a pool than that junk these people must be cheap such a big yard but yet a pool so plane Jane
Must just be a difference in taste. I find it beautiful in it's simplicity. It also seems that different parts of the country have different design esthetics. I personally don't like the more gaudy pools.
Hello, what is the square footage of this concrete patio?? I would gladly appreciate it.
It’s 5 feet on each side, except the fire pit side, which is 8 feet.
some people are really lucky, the garden of the house is big enough to play a football game :) on the other hand, we live in prison in stone buildings.
Very Nice! Approx. cost?
With landscaping, and pool shed, it was about $120,000
@@pkhulk ...thanks!
Great job. What was the model pool (and dimensions) that was installed? What was the approximate final price?
Thanks! It's the D32 from River pools. It's 16 by 32 feet, with a 4 foot tanning ledge. After landscaping and a pool shed, we spent right around 120k.
The concrete around is a no go.
Why
Freeze, thaw or if ground around becomes saturated concrete can crack and cause shell upheaval. Stone is best bet.
how much cost something like that
Superb done
🥳We loved every second of this! Here's to that EPIC first summer with a pool! 🌊🇺🇸
Da kann man ruhig mal klatschen!
Hello, I have pool similar to yours but I'm planning to pour concrete around because now is just dirt and grass but I wonder if I need to put coping first and then the rest of the concrete. I notice that your concrete is one piece how it works for you? Definitely the kids have fun with the mud hehehe Thank you in advance.
We had plastic forms attached directly to the pool lip. When the concrete was set, the forms simply snapped off.
@@pkhulk That's a clean look without the coping. Did that save you money?
@@vickipackham7357 it didn’t make a lot of difference. But we didn’t want a lip all around the pool.
@@pkhulk what plastic forms are they, we are in NZ not sure if we have an equivalent product here
Nice to see *rigid PVC pipe* installed. Too many pool contractors use that “flexible PVC” _spa hose_ underground!
Yeah, that wouldn't have made me happy.
I have installed semi-rigid pvc pipes (gray astralpool diameter 50). I can backfill or risk crushing. Height 1.50m
What’s the Final price for this project , thinking about doing the same thing would love some real world end of the job numbers if possible thanks
Between landscaping, a pool shed, accessories and the pool itself, we spent around $130k.
@@pkhulk phew $130K man pools are expensive, I live in Jackson TN, we’re getting an 18x40 rectangle pool with a pool deck put in by a company in Memphis, to save money, we bought a kit, that included all necessary components, luckily we don’t need a pool shed or landscaping done, but with the pool and labor it’ll only be about $40K other places we’ve had estimates done they were talking $60K $80K and even $100K we searched and searched for ways to make it cheaper and finally found one, we’re getting ours soon!
@@tropicalsbigdaddyr53577 DIY can definitely bring down the price. But we were worried that if we encountered any problems (bedrock, sand, etc.) the cost could balloon really fast. I hope everything works out with your project. Good luck!
@@pkhulk we actually got our kit very fast, we expected a little bit of a wait, but nope, it was delivered about 4 days ago, and we have the hole dug and the kit installed, we’re just waiting on plumbing, electrical, and concrete atm, that way we can get started on everything else
@@tropicalsbigdaddyr53577 I live just south of Memphis. What company did you use for the install? Did you use a kit from a company like Royal Pools?
What color is your pool? We're getting Caribbean Sparkle in a few weeks. Hopefully it's as beautiful as yours!
This is the Caribbean Sparkle. Good luck with your new pool!
little kitty!!!!! great vid.
