I'm still enjoying dmz ,as a solo player who plays mainly pve and enjoy the cat and mouse when I'm being hunted or when there's a squad nearby and even if I do get caught and killed most are pretty chill and pick me up
I can agree that if you're friendly about being robbed, for the most part, some people will pick you up. Not always the case.
I look at DMZ solely as a place to PvP open world style. They should remove the progression of mission objectives, especially this late in the mw2 life cycle. That or implementa rogue system so there's a chance to progress against seasoned DMZ sweaty players.

@@forthesnowflakes7691 with the exception of daily missions I don't bother with missions I just set my own personal tasks like ,get enough cash for a personal exfill ,get my dog tag up to Damascus or just evade hunt squads that's the beauty of dmz you can pretty much play it how you want
Fight and live fight and die it matters not when you got a few operators. But DMZ stole my heart.and it breaks at zombies tho that is pretty much all I have played lol

Running into fully geared/plated 3 man sniper teams at the start of the round. Always getting spawn pushed by 3 snipers as a solo gets old

I stopped teaming up and started going solo again when my teammates loot my gear and cash before they rezzed me. They just stand there looting you vest, backpack, money and weapons and then they rez you.
Right now It's just all pvp in DMZ. I got chased down by a 3 man team with 2:20 left in the game. I wasn't anywhere near the final exfil. They were just being dicks to be dicks. It's frustrating to play the game right now. I tried the game again after 2 weeks off and I'm thinking that i'm done with DMZ.

That’s why I stopped playing DMZ and why I shake my head at the people complaining about zombies not having pvp. Killing other players should be a SMALL part of DMZ. Not the focus.
Say what you will about DMZ but I have improved more from DMZ PVP than any other mode. Not to mention you get way more player interaction than any other mode
It really is. Everyone is just so blood thirsty. Even when you spawn in w ransoms, and u say “what’s the plan?” Most of them are like “just wanna hunt some teams” like ok

Yep, plenty of killers running around, some dont even bother looting ya. Im still trying to grind out some missions and build vests and its been a wild ride.
That’s the best cut to a new scene, “I have all the enemy weapons I need!,” cuts to a TAV filled with them, like nothing happened…too good
DMZ will always have a place in my heart despite the new updates, and new missions. I feel like they should keep adding missions daily or even a couple of weeks. I think we are in need of a new map because I’ve noticed time I’ve played, everyone runs to the other team spawn location and makes the game less cinematic. I hope they give us a new map, or new missions. At this point it’s just another WARZONE 2.5
Something that I learn this couple months is, reposition is key to survive when you're solo against hunters, spotter scope and throwing knife is your best friend on DMZ

I’ve noticed everyone piles up in one spot some games, i got prob 10 downs or more and 8 kills a few days ago, it was absolute insanity
I haven't done a mission in 2 months in DMZ its gonna stay pvp heavy until they give us something to do. But even if i want to do missions the bots are so cracked now, they down me now more than ever making some missions insufferable. The most fun i have now is jumping out of the exfil choppers to kill teams that try to rush the chopper

So the ammo issue arrises when you stow and drop weapons in your 3rd slot loads. I had a weekly which was dead drop 30 weapons, and basically my ammo was totally screwed until I dropped the impacted weapons and picked them up again
Dmz is so unique, you can pvp, or be a ninja and avoid players altogether. As someone already said, you never know what kinda raid you're going to have. It could be very chill, loot up and extract or it could pvp central and think that's the way COD should be
Anytime me and my team run up on a solo we interagate them but the time we was friendly to someone he basically rat out the location of our team mate that was trying to rez us.

Hunt contracts dont disappear anymore, even if youre alone on the map unless they changed it back. It should just say theres no targets left if youre alone on the map and you pick up a hunt. FYI!
Yeah my plate count disappears too, it showed I had plates in the beginning and then towards mid game I had plates but it showed I had zero

It would be nice to get DMZ in the new map, when they changed the squad sizes I was excited as a solo player and found it easier to dear with them and even fight them, but people also we not constantly just looking for players to hunt some were yes but now it’s a straight up find any other player and kill them. DMZ has become very unfriendly and I feel if they had 6 again it would bring more people to communicate and pickup solos

Yeah I started playing dmz at the end of October. I was loving playing with my buddy just running missions and contracts. I completed the battle pass in 2 weeks. That was only possible because yeah, I had a lot of free time with my kids back in school but really if it was then like it has become over the past two months into this PvP hellhole that it is now there is no way I could have done that. Not to mention I've had my clown sitting at a 9 killstreak because I'm terrified to try to just run one hvt mission and personal exfil for my 10th for a damascus dog tag. You loose plates, weapons and gear all the time. But to loose 9 rounds of progress to either some child who doesn't know how curse words work or someone within a decade of my own age just disillusioned and angry after the 3rd round of getting wiped trying to run a specific mission by scrubs who use dmz to player kill cuz they honestly are trash at the actual pvp modes? Just not great fun. I've had to change how I play and adapt to derive some sort of enjoyment out of it, cuz otherwise the game is just a monumental waste of space on my HD and time in my life. Not worth it to get aggravated at people who are so sorry that they have to hurt others to feel anything like enjoyment in life.
I completely missed why you were only able to dead drop 2 weapons during the stream! 😂 So sad! 😥lol... Pleas, I've learned, tend to draw in more and more players. You can spend a whole raid in one spot just getting pushed by other players. The video is awesome!

I think they condensed the servers which has been awesome. As someone who plays almost daily and hasn't stopped i noticed for the past few days the lobbies have been stacked , i got a 10 kill game yesterday on ps5 only . Takes a little while to get into match but its well worth it .

Half the time I don’t even get killed by spawn snipers or exfil campers or hell, even platoons, I run into one dude and down him, then I try to not be toxic and just stay near him if there’s a teammate and sure enough his teammate comes out of nowhere shooting me 0.00004 milliseconds before I start shooting and gets an instant down
Still love playing DMZ SOLO. If I get eliminated or wipe a 3 man. Still exciting to play 👍🏼

I was able to Damascus my third operator this morning.
Many streamers left the game, and I believe it's a mistake unless they're not having fun. Most quit because they don't want to spend more time on a game that might die.

i have even half the missions completed yet. gave up because everyone is pvping, but running around is so much fun.
These are the players I don’t miss from DMZ. They shoot ON1C and then when he fights back and win it’s a boo hop cry fest about “that’s not fair” “it’s part of the game”. Don’t start a fight and expect to win every time
Little tip. If you down someone and the feet are facing to the left, they have no self.
there’s a bug with dead dropping weapons that causes your ammo reserves to poof afterwards
I respect being able to play DMZ especially solo, this mode can be so difficult and frustrating.
So far since MW3 came out, i stay on vondel cause its easier to hide and gear back up. all my Al Marah games have resulted in me dying or barely making it out as a team desperately hunts down every single player that is left in the lobby. Every Al Maz game i get spawn pushed or worse i just spawn in the city and so does everyone else

Yo what happened at the 1:28 mark when your gun flicked back at the roof of the building while you were still shooting??? There was a guy in that building you couldnt see until a few seconds later when you hit the UAV and he was under there. That looked SUSUSUSUSUS man seeing your gun flick to the roof from that vehicle right as it runs past the rocks you cant shoot through. Then turns out that guy was in there under where you flicked to... What is that shit man??????
