I was really enjoying it and suddenly the DJ played a mixed version of this song, needless to say I was ecstatic!! My cousin, who is a bit older than me, who was also a musician who graduated from the music school there, wasn't familiar with the song, but I think she appreciated it by time they finished playing it! That's partially true, though the tough part about Newton-John's success in the recording industry comes more from under-management. Though the wonderful thing is that she were willing to be stylized towards the greater of the genre mediums, and her voice could carry those themes. Yet largely, I think Olivia were cheated from being more of an *'80s* force. Though she were never not a part of it, thank God (not that you implied as much).
She kinda had two careers, her music before the 80 was different. I think her manager wanted her to be like Karen carpenter and didn't want her to do grease, but she got rid of him and became totally hot!

Olivia took a 4 year break between 1981’s Physical and 1985’s Soul Kiss, and by that time, the music scene had certainly changed. There wasn’t a niche that ONJ could easily fit in. I don’t even remember this album being released; it didn’t help that there there was no promotion of the album.
Great song. I remember I was at work and my sister called me and said it was on the radio. I ran to my car to listen on the radio and was in heaven. As soon as work was over I ran out and bought the 45rpm. Those were happy days.

I was so disappointed that Olivia career Started to decline after Soul kiss . Unfortunately the movie Two of a Kind was a flop that was slightly redeemed by the awesome soundtrack album which I played over and over again back in the day on cassette tape.
Do y'all remember when audio retailers could not sell this album for $0.99 in bargain baskets !!! ? WOW ! .... Always wondered WHY .... Maybe Olivia was demonstrating a TOUGH image that didn't quite mesh with her "girly-blonde" image ?
